will disappear. Therefore, just as the heat of fire, although the ability has become the nature or dharma of things, it must produce ability from the causes and conditions that act together, or from encountering the object. Such an instant of producing results, which is now gone, is invisible. Therefore, since it is not visible that the cause directly produces the result, even if the thing has the ability as the dharma of the thing, for those who are uncertain and confused, it is not clear what this ability is. Therefore, although the ability is not non-existent at the time of seeing the thing, ordinary people cannot determine it as such, because it cannot be judged only by seeing without relying on the state of seeing the result being produced, because the power of intelligence that accords with what the thing is like is not completely perfected. Secondly, because there are cases where one sees but is not certain, inference is necessary. If, due to the presence of obstacles from external and internal confusing factors, or the lack of favorable conditions, it is not possible to determine as one sees the thing, and a fabrication arises that is different from the nature of the thing, then in order to reverse this, it is meaningful to state inference, because it is the cause of certainty. Therefore, many inferences can be applied to the same object, because many fabrications are possible. Secondly, if one can be certain by seeing, then inference is not necessary. It has been shown that it is possible to be certain by seeing. Even if one is certain, many concepts arise. This is the reason for one's own certainty. First, like the noble ones who are able to understand what is seen as it is without error, those with great wisdom can determine all aspects of how the nature of things such as impermanence exists only by seeing that thing, because they are familiar and free from the ignorance that is corrupted by delusion, just as a person with clear eyes sees an object. Moreover, the seeing with meditative concentration is superior to the seeing of ordinary people, and the seeing of the Lesser Vehicle is superior to that, and the seeing of the Great Vehicle is particularly superior to that. Moreover, the seeing with the distinction of the ten bhumis is increasingly superior. The vision of the fully perfected Buddha sees all the meanings included in how things are and how many things there are.

Having understood that in that instant, it is in order to completely abandon all obscurations of not knowing the nature of things. Second, if it is determined that things and impermanence are inseparable, then the words "things" and "impermanence" will not enter the mind as being different, is that so? The words of different opposites do not enter the mind because they are different in meaning. Any thing, from all things that are not itself, is not different by means of the opposite. For that own-character, there is a reason for the mind that is the reason for turning away from anything else, and what is grasped by the mind enters in the same way as the different supports of the word that is established, because the conceptualization only shows what one wants to know and wants to express. Therefore, the noble ones experience the nature of the Dharma, which is to be known by each individual, and which cannot be expressed, in meditative equipoise, but in the subsequent attainment, they teach others by means of language and conceptual consciousness in a way that eliminates others, which is necessary to eliminate superimposition. From this, it can be inferred that even if impermanence can be determined by self-power through direct perception, it is appropriate to represent and express it through language and conceptualization. Third, if there is no cause for confusion with others, then when seeing the own-character, that thing does not depend on others, but by its own nature, it generates a mind that is in accordance with its own state, just as when the eye is not mistaken, when seeing blue, it naturally determines it to be blue. Second, the destruction of things is not harmed by the acceptance of others. If destruction is the same, then it is inference. To think that destruction is definite is wrong. First, the arising of the mind of impermanence after the moment of cessation is a decisive knowledge, or here, some of the Hearers of one's own school think that after the cessation of a thing, it becomes an object of cognition, and destruction is established from the sign of non-objectification. They say that what was previously a thing has disappeared, and this is called impermanence. Moreover, they think that merely the arising of a thing does not mean impermanence, because arising and ceasing are contradictory and cannot exist on the same Dharma, so what previously arose from a cause and later perished is called impermanence, and what has not arisen cannot have cessation, so they think that all things are related to both arising and ceasing. Because arising is a thing, it is direct perception.
