In short, if the opposite is established and there is no obstruction to the appearance of oneself and what is related to oneself, then when negating something or establishing its necessary non-existence, if one uses a seemingly valid reason and claims it as the measure for establishing that thing, then it does not accord with correct reasoning. For example, using the ability to speak, being a person, and having senses, etc., to negate omniscience, and using these reasons to establish that other worlds, gods, and hells, etc., do not exist. Secondly, there is no establishment of either of the two oppositions between things like omniscience and the afterlife, which are beyond the senses of ordinary people, and reasons like being able to speak. That is, even if it is established that there is no direct or indirect opposition that mutually excludes things like being able to speak and omniscience, it is also not an opposition of non-coexistence. Just as darkness diminishes as light increases, it is not seen that speech diminishes as wisdom increases, and merely speaking is due to the desire to express, and when wisdom increases, one also sees that one is very skilled at speaking, so what contradiction is there between these two? Similarly, there is no opposition in being a person, etc. If there is no opposition, merely being different things cannot negate, like cloth and blankets. Therefore, if one is both able to speak and omniscient, then what nature of harmer and harmed is there between these two? There is nothing. If someone says that because omniscience is not found in those who can speak, etc., then why not say from the beginning that this non-discovery itself is proof? If one uses irrelevant or unreasonable seemingly valid reasons and uses them to show one's own foolishness, what is the use? Therefore, even if the ultimate reason for negation is established through non-discovery, it has already been fully explained that for those who deny omniscience, etc., their own non-discovery does not determine that such a thing does not exist. Due to the nature of time, place, and things themselves, some things cannot appear in any era, therefore, for those extremely hidden things, it is impossible to allow the senses and wisdom of ordinary people to understand, so it is impossible to determine their existence or non-existence. Secondly, regarding how to apply negative reasons: the appearance of opposition and the non-discovery of what can appear. First, the reason used to negate the opposite can be fully applied to situations where things are different or the same.

For example, setting fire as a sign to prove the absence of snow, and the Samkhyas asserting that form etc. arise from the Pradhana, yet admitting that the cause exists from the time, this is like a harm. If one thinks, how can there be contradiction in non-different things? Although this is true, it is possible to state contradiction in accordance with the opponent's intention. The Samkhyas admit that the effect already exists, and consider its manifestation as arising, but if it already exists, then arising again is meaningless, and even arising is impossible. If there is a difference that did not exist before, then it contradicts what existed before, so in reality, what existed before and what did not exist before are contradictory. Arising occurs to what did not exist before, so it is a contradiction. Therefore, in general, even if arising itself is not different from existence, it is contradictory for something that already exists to arise again. Saying it that way, i.e., stating a contradiction, is to eliminate the idea that there is no way to state it except in different things. The second part includes: explaining separately and summarizing the points. The first part includes: how the related object not seen is a sign. It is reasonable for the nature not seen to be a sign. The first part includes: becoming a sign from the relation of things. This excludes other signs that have no relation of things. The way this sign understands the sign. First, just as when proving fire and impermanence etc., smoke and what is made etc. are considered as means of proving things, when the cause and the pervading thing itself disappear, the things that become related objects such as smoke and what is made also disappear, this is the nature of things. Second, just as proving is by the power of things, showing that related things disappear is also by the power of things, this excludes those who say that anything that is not established on things, but is attached by one's own conceptualization, and is similar to the dharma side, is a sign. If such a thing attached by conceptualization becomes a sign, then anything that one wants to prove and anything different from it can have such a sign. For example, the outsiders say: sound is permanent, because it is any side that is similar to the proving side of permanence. Although sound is a permanent side or a subject that one wants to know, this itself has no meaning of establishment. Space is permanent
