And also add to the negating reason. Like this, from the mind that holds the reason, it becomes something related to the reason. For such a thing to be proven, it is generated by the holder of the reason, that is, it arises in dependence on it, the consciousness of having a reason arises. For example, if "whatever is made" is taken as a reason, then what does it become the reason for? It becomes the reason for the consciousness of impermanence, which has a reason. Moreover, wanting to understand on which dharma the reason exists, one thinks that "impermanence" is established on that, and the dharma that one wants to understand becomes the possessor of the reason. Like this, the consciousness of the reason and the possessor of the reason, although it is the object of general characteristics, if such a consciousness does not arise without such a reason in reality, therefore, it is related to the object or the measurable through indirect means. Therefore, the inference that arises from the correct reason, the consciousness of the possessor of the reason, although it appears as self-characterized in its own appearance object, is empty. But in reality, it does not deceive the reality of things, because it is a consciousness that enters by the power of things. Second, if inference is valid cognition, then it does not deceive the object in that way. Earlier it was said: "The second is considered to be mistaken." What does this mean? The mistake here does not mean being mistaken about the self-characterized object of clinging or entering, but it is spoken from the perspective of being mistaken about the self-characterized object in the appearance object. How is that? Merely the appearance of the object of conception, empty of the nature of the real self-characterized object, because of clinging to these as the nature of the self-characterized object, therefore, although the inference does not deceive the self-characterized object that it has determined, it is established as being mistaken about the self-characterized object in the appearance object. Second, divided into two: the way the establishing reason is related to the measurable, and the way the negating reason is related to the measurable. First, inference does not deceive the entering object, therefore, for the object or proposition to be proven, which is to be understood, it is the same as the nature of the pervader to be proven, having a single relationship, or having a causal relationship with that reason, such as the pervaded action, or the result such as smoke, these are the reasons for the mind that holds the establishing reason. Moreover, the reason is also the reason for the consciousness of the possessor of the reason, therefore, these two establishing reasons are also related to the measurable object, just as it is proven by it, it does not deceive the object.

It is fallacious. Second, regarding the negative sign: How to establish things and signs. First, negation is established from the connection between sign and dharma. Showing that unrelated negation appears to be correct. First, all negations are established from non-apprehension. Abandoning doubts other than that. First, the establishing signs are indeed connected to the meaning of things, so they are not deceptive. However, since negative signs only establish the absence of what is to be negated, and there is nothing in that absence, the self-character of the mind of the sign and the sign-possessor and the connection through it are not appropriate, so they will become deceptive? Negation itself, although there are different types of combinations, in reality, in all combinations, negation itself is established only from the fact that the self-character of what is to be negated is not apprehended by valid cognition. Like establishing signs, it is not necessary for the object to be established to be established in reality, but because the valid cognition that apprehends the object that can appear is reversed, it is established that that place does not exist. If the object that can appear exists, then the sense consciousness that possesses that object also arises, but because the object does not exist, the consciousness that grasps it also does not arise, so it is established that the term "that object does not exist" is used. In that case, if it is thought that it is contradictory to establish the object to be measured by reversing the valid cognition, like the fault spoken to the far-thrower? It is not transformed into that fault, because things that are hidden, such as the other world, cannot appear now, but even if the valid cognition that apprehends them is reversed there, it is only that they have not been measured by direct valid cognition, and it is not necessarily established that they do not exist. However, it is established with certainty that something does not exist in that place simply because valid cognition does not apprehend what can appear. For example, those who have conceptual thoughts who say that the objects such as vases in front of us are established by the establishing valid cognition, their speech or desire is reversed by that meaning or force, that is, it is established that something does not exist from the fact that it is not established or not apprehended by valid cognition. Because in substantial contradiction, negating the characteristic of one becomes the characteristic of the other. If there is no other way to establish existence than to apprehend it with the valid cognition of the cause, then there is no other way to establish non-existence than to not apprehend it with valid cognition. Therefore, the sign of not apprehending what can appear can establish non-existence, so it also enters by the power of things and does not become unrelated to meaning. Therefore, the term "non-existence" is established only from non-apprehension, and not
