Also correct. Therefore, since there is no cause for showing errors, it is a prophecy of the elimination of sins. Although this is the case, speaking is an act that prioritizes thinking and discernment. Keeping the matter one wants to speak about in mind in that way, thinking, 'Let it be understood in this way,' isn't that attachment? That is not called attachment, because one's own purpose has been achieved, and even if one doesn't speak, there is no hindrance to oneself. Therefore, speaking to others is not for one's own purpose or benefit, and one has already proven oneself to be a saint free from attachment. Therefore, showing others the path of how one sees things is because of great compassion for all beings. All previous writings on the path of learning were written for the benefit of other beings, and are the ultimate result of that. Therefore, why would one show a path that deceives beings? It will only become non-deceptive. Therefore, it is a protector, because even if one knows it oneself, if one doesn't tell others, one cannot protect others. It is called a protector because it protects through the act of telling. Because of such reasons, for those who desire liberation, it is proven to be a reliable person, because it does not deceive. Second, reverse reasoning. Explaining what the nature of protection is. From that, showing the realization of the Sugata. From that, showing the realization of the teacher. From that, showing the realization of the loving one. First, showing that teaching the Four Noble Truths is protection. Explaining the individual nature of each of the Four Noble Truths. First. Or, to represent it as a sign of knowledge in the manner of reverse reasoning. The protector is known by teaching the Four Noble Truths, because through that method one can certainly protect the beings to be tamed, so that teacher is proven to be a protector. Therefore, giving the best things by Ishvara and others, and serving the five fires, etc., are not the correct methods, and cannot permanently protect from samsara, because there is no reversing the cause of samsara. But teaching the Four Noble Truths will certainly protect forever, because it is proven by the power of fact, so that method speaker is also a protector, and one is able to know correctly. As it says in the sutra: People frightened by fear mostly go to mountains and forests, as well as gardens and places of worship, seeking refuge in large trees, that refuge is the main one.

Not a worldly protector, relying on it cannot be freed from all sufferings. When to the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha, one takes refuge and relies with sincerity, then one can be freed from suffering, and from all sources of suffering, and from the true path of liberation from suffering, the eightfold noble path, one can enter Nirvana. The four noble truths, when viewed with wisdom, this is the supreme protector, relying on this supreme protector, one can be freed from all suffering. Thus it is said. Secondly: Explaining the truth of knowable suffering, explaining the truth of what is to be abandoned, the origin of suffering, explaining the truth of what is to be attained, the cessation of suffering, explaining the truth of what is to be cultivated, the path. Firstly: Explaining the basis of suffering, explaining the characteristic of the truth of suffering. Firstly: Refuting the real entity and the wrong conceptions about it. Firstly: What is suffering? It is the contaminated aggregates of clinging, which revolve from one to another through the cycle of birth and death. How does this become the nature of suffering? Because as long as it is a contaminated aggregate, it is inevitably accompanied by the suffering of suffering, the suffering of change, and the pervasive suffering of conditioning, so those aggregates become the nature of suffering. It is not falsely imputed, but the nature of things is such, so it is called truth. Secondly: Refuting the view that does not acknowledge reincarnation, and refuting the answers to its faults. Firstly, the Lokayata says: There is no transmission and reincarnation from one being to another, because the coming and going before and after are not seen. Therefore, the present aggregates are merely causeless and spontaneous. If they say so, then, due to the force of habit, attachment and hatred, love and wisdom, etc., are manifested, that is, their manifestation can be seen. Attachment and so on are not suddenly produced without cause, because if that were the case, from when they arise, they could not grow from the cause of habit, and so on. Thus, after establishing the proof that it is not spontaneous, there is harm in considering it spontaneous, because it is contradictory for self-nature to arise without cause. Or, because there is no cause, it will never happen, or it will not happen occasionally, but all will happen.
