Furthermore, since it is not a support, there is no harm, and it is the wisdom that enters with the power of things and has the meaning of being truly and correctly in accordance with reality. Having attained the transformation of extreme habituation and becoming the nature of that wisdom, even if one tries with inverted opposing sides, it cannot be reversed, because there is no reason to be able to reverse other than holding onto the side of the wisdom that has turned into the correct meaning. Second, in order to prove the exhaustion of all faults, greed and so on cannot destroy each other; one must identify the antidote that destroys all. First, someone says that since self-grasping and the realization of selflessness have contradictory objects and aspects, the habituation of the realization of selflessness will exhaust all faults, but this is not reasonable. Like this, the desire to accept objects, which is attachment, and the hatred that wants to abandon objects, have extremely contradictory aspects, but no matter how much one habituates either one, the other will not be exhausted. Moreover, different aspects of faults cannot be exhausted by one antidote, and even if one habituates each antidote, they cannot be exhausted, just as one can still generate attachment even after habituating ugliness for a long time, and so on. If you say that, attachment and hatred both arise from the cause of grasping at self, therefore they have the same cause. Moreover, from attachment arises anger towards what harms it, and fear also arises towards the object of anger, therefore they can exist as things that are mutually cause and effect, so even though attachment and anger differ in their ways of grasping, they do not harm each other. Moreover, the antidote to hatred is love, and the antidote to attachment is ugliness, etc. No matter how much one habituates them alone without relating to the realization of selflessness, one cannot exhaust the cause of faults, which is ignorance, i.e., the view of self, therefore one can temporarily prevent the manifestation of attachment, hatred, etc., but one cannot destroy their seeds, so it is not a thorough eradication of faults. Second, in two parts, explain the root of all faults to be destroyed, and indicate what the destroying antidote is. The first part is again divided into two parts: the reality and dispelling doubts about it. First, it is not that different faults cannot be destroyed by one antidote, because all faults such as attachment are rooted in ignorance or delusion, i.e., they arise from it alone. So, what is such ignorance? It is the view of the aggregates as self, i.e., clinging to the aggregates as self and what belongs to self.

It is only attachment; if one does not cling to self, greed and other emotions will not arise. Second, regarding the explanation of the view of the perishable aggregate as ignorance, some Śrāvakayana schools say: This is not reasonable, because ignorance is merely the nature of being unwise, and is a root affliction. But the view of the perishable aggregate is a view, and is a wrong knowledge, so the two are different. If it is said that the view of the perishable aggregate and ignorance are concomitant, so they are one, then concomitance is unreasonable. In general, ignorance is not merely the absence of wisdom, because land and stones also have it. The so-called unclear is not merely not grasping an object, because merely not grasping an object, no aspect of a mind that focuses on an object arises, so there is no inverted grasping. Therefore, ignorance is said to be a mental factor with a clinging manner that is contrary to wisdom, and this is present in the view of the perishable aggregate. Because it is a clinging manner that is the opposite of the wisdom that truly realizes selflessness. It is not merely the absence of wisdom, but the mental factor itself focuses on the object as self, so it is ignorance. Moreover, the sutra says that inverted focusing itself is ignorance, so this view of the perishable aggregate is also inverted focusing, so it is a part of ignorance, so it is unreasonable to say that it is different from ignorance. Moreover, the *Moon Lamp Sutra* says: What is it that is free from ignorance? It is that which is free from excessive imputation to things as they are. And the *Ten Bhumi Sutra* says: All the misdeeds that arise in the world arise from attachment to self. If one is free from attachment to self, they will not arise. Etc., the view of the perishable aggregate is also mentioned when explaining the ignorance of the twelve links of dependent origination. Therefore, the contradiction of so-called unreasonable concomitance is that, as just said, the view of the perishable aggregate is also a part of ignorance, just like "a forest with leaves" and "a body with hands," it is both ignorance and the view of the perishable aggregate, this meaning should be explained here. The phrase "what contradiction" is also related to some of the following tenets. Second, what is the antidote that destroys all faults? It is the view of selflessness or emptiness.
