It is unreasonable for a lifeless place to exist. Second part: First state the other party's point of view and then refute it. First point: If fire can be reversed, but the change of wood, such as coal, will not turn back into wood again, then, even if the sin fades, the mind will not reverse again, is that so? Second part: Summary, detailed explanation, conclusion, meaning. First point: The change of disease is not irreversible, because it has not made the body's foundation disappear, the body still exists as before, so for that sin, taking treatment measures is feasible. Second point: Like this, the nature of things themselves causes changes that no longer occur, because some causes permanently produce changes in some places. And some changes caused by some causes are reversible, such as fire causing changes to wood and gold. First, the change that fire causes to wood, although small, is irreversible. And the change that produces reversible changes, no matter how big the change is, will eventually return to the original state of the thing, just like the molten gold liquid that fire melts will eventually solidify. Therefore, sin has not made the body disappear or become another form like fire burning wood, so it is not untreatable, so it can still be restored. If someone thinks this is impossible, because it is recorded in the treatment methods for incurable diseases, etc. Then, saying that some diseases are completely incurable is because in that place and time, it is difficult to find treatment drugs and doctors, or because of the influence of karma, the patient's life is exhausted, so it cannot be treated. According to your statement, the reason for the exhaustion of life is not recognized as the karma of previous lives, and the possibility of finding a treatment method in all cases cannot be completely ruled out, perhaps it can be found in some cases. If the cause of death is only sin, then there is no sin that is completely incurable, because sin increases and decreases, so it can be calmed by drugs, etc. that are opposite to sin, just like fire, no matter how strong it burns, it will be extinguished by larger water. Third point: Therefore, the dead body will not retain poison, etc., because they will naturally recede. Or, like Sprul Gedenka Ken (a type of antidote), at the time of death, the poison that has already been detoxified will gather at the wound like the first time it was poisoned, so it should be cut off.

Moreover, since the deceased have already separated from the cause of the body's transformation, why can't they be resurrected as before? Because the conditions for resurrection are already complete. Second, refute the doubts about reality and its existence. First, if it is believed that the body, which is considered the immediate cause of consciousness, is not momentary but permanent, then the immediate result from it—consciousness—will never arise, because it will not become the immediate cause. The reason is that anything that is an immediate cause, if it does not change, then that cause itself cannot be transformed or changed into the nature of the immediate result. For example, clay itself cannot be transformed into the shape of a vase, etc., while remaining unchanged in its clay nature. Any object that remains unchanged cannot cause another object to transform or arise, so it cannot be the immediate cause of that object. For example, a cow and a non-cow, fire and water, etc., are unrelated. The same is true of consciousness and body. Furthermore, in this case of the body and consciousness gathering together, even if the body has not changed, consciousness exists, and although there is no difference in the body, fear, sorrow, joy, etc., will produce various changes in consciousness; and when the body changes, such as amputation, consciousness does not seem to change from before. Therefore, the previously arisen consciousness is not produced by the cause of the body. Second, if the body and consciousness are not the immediate cause and the immediate result, then what is the necessity of their co-existence? Due to the pull of previous karma, when the continuum of consciousness connects to the womb, the cause of the body—curd, etc.—exists as a co-arising auxiliary condition, and thus it grasps the existence of birth. The collection of body and consciousness drawn by a single previous karma is the result of the same cause, so as long as the pulling force of karma has not been exhausted, they will coexist. For example, copper is produced from its own kind of previous immediate cause, and then it is melted by the co-arising auxiliary condition of fire. When it becomes molten, the molten state of fire and copper will coexist. The above refutes the view that the body and consciousness are not simultaneous, and that consciousness arises from the immediate cause of the previously existing body. Furthermore, the five sense consciousnesses arise from the senses, sometimes arising and sometimes not.
