Because I see that there are changes, therefore, the support where the mind consciousness abides is the previous consciousness of its own kind. Relying on it, some differences of mind with the name of karma, that is, attachment connected with the body, are the cause of the sense faculties such as the eyes. Therefore, the sense faculties arise from the mind consciousness. If the previous mind consciousness has such a pulling effect, then later it will also take birth in the manner of a cause of pulling effect. Second, eliminating contradictions with the scriptures: If you say that the Buddha said in the Sutras that body and mind are mutually compliant, relying on each other like a quiver, then this is contradictory. Answer: Because the consciousness born relying on the sense faculties of the body can help the mind, therefore, the Sutra says that the mind relies on the body. If you say that without a body with sense faculties, consciousness will not arise, because it has not been seen. Then, the sense faculties that take consciousness as the cause have also not been seen without consciousness. In this way, they are also mutually the cause, and without any one, the other will not arise. Therefore, they are mutually the cause, so in the endlessness of before and after, they will continue in a constant manner. Second, specifically refuting the arising of consciousness from a permanent body that is not momentary: It is impossible for a sequential consciousness that is different before and after to arise from a permanent body that is not sequential, because if the cause has no sequence, then the effect will also become without sequence. If you say that sequential consciousness arises depending on conditions, then the cause itself is a permanent thing without sequence, and it is impossible for conditions to create differences between before and after, so there is no need to rely on others. If various kinds of consciousness arise sequentially from one body without sequence, then the effect, that is, the sequence of consciousness, clearly shows that the body also has sequence, because if the causes are not different, the effects cannot be different. In this way, each moment of body, breath, sense faculties, and consciousness is the cause of the next moment that arises without a previous one. For this reason, such a moment of cause is visible or existent in life at all times of birth and death, because without the previous, the moment of effect cannot arise, and there is no obstacle.

Because a moment with complete causes will definitely generate a similar subsequent one. Second, regarding the afterlife, there is a brief indication without proof, and a detailed explanation of its meaning. First, what contradiction is there in the final moment of consciousness at the cessation of life connecting with another consciousness in the next world? Since the two are not unable to coexist, and there is no mutually exclusive form, why would they not connect and instead connect? Second, refuting objections and disputes. First, the example is not established and there is no reason. First, the Lokayata says: Whatever dying mind, that very one, does not go after to another birth, because it is a dying mind, for example, like the faultless dying consciousness. Thus it is said, the ordinary person's dying mind, does not generate its own result, the subsequent consciousness, because it is a dying mind, like the dying mind believed to be of an Arhat. Thus it is said. To give an example for that is meaningless, because the mind of an Arhat at the time of passing away is also believed to have no reason not to connect. The reasons such as abandoning craving explained by the Buddhists, you do not accept, because you believe there are no Arhats in the world. If you say it is because you yourself have promised, then, do you yourself follow the tenets of others whose meanings have not been established by valid cognition? By that alone, it is not possible to establish that there is no afterlife. Second, refuting the unestablished hypothetical statement. First, if you say that you do not establish the example merely by following tenets, but because at the time of death, the mind is separated from the causes of arising, such as breathing in and out, and the senses, then, why not state the reason of being separated from causes from the beginning, and instead state the uncertain reason "because it is a dying mind"? Even so, why not state here the way in which the mind of the next world is not separated from causes? Therefore, that is not a proof. Second, refuting arising from a body with senses, refuting arising from a body without senses. First, if a body with senses is a cause of mind, then is each sense a cause? Or is the collection of all senses a cause? If you say each sense is a cause, then the eye alone
