If it is said that it does not move from its previous basis and abides in the substance newly produced from that place, then it is very reasonable, which is expressed in euphemistic words, just as water resides in a bottle but pervades the inside of the bottle. If the place where the later object exists has no connection with that place at all, and it pervades the bright places of those places, it would be very strange, just as admitting that there is no bottle in this place, but saying that the people in this place have a bottle. The second case is: if, according to the second view, the general exists in all aspects of the brightness and non-brightness of its own basis, then, by appearing in one place, making that general appear, since that general has no difference, then that general pervading all aspects should be seen. That which exists in the non-bright place does not depend on other brightness either, because there is no other difference from what is seen from one angle. If different things are seen depending on each brightness, then the unique indivisibility cannot be established. If it cannot be seen from one angle, then it cannot be seen from multiple angles either. Furthermore, the horse is also pervaded by the generality of the cow, so all things will be considered to have the sound and concept of all things. Just as in the world, if the illuminating lamp etc. is not recognized, then before that, if the illuminated bottle etc. is not correctly recognized, then why do you want to reverse the general and the things related to the general? It is like admitting that there is also an illuminated general in a place where there is no illuminating cow. If that is the case, then it is admitting that illumination is previously perceived without illumination. In this regard, most of the Indian commentaries explain that if the basis of difference, the general, is not understood, then the difference, the particular, cannot be understood, which is admitted from one's own point of view, so why admit the opposite now? If it is said that even without a lamp, there is a bottle in a dark room, then if it has never appeared in a dark room, how can its existence be determined? Similarly, there is no reason to determine the existence of something that cannot be revealed in the empty place outside of its own existing position by any light.

Therefore, where cows and so on appear, it is merely the appearance of those things, and no general aspect of the object of manifestation other than that is noticed. The mere appearance of the cow itself is merely the appearance of that alone, so on what grounds is it called a manifestor? Because it has not seen any other object of manifestation. If a lamp is noticed in an empty place, it is merely the lamp that is noticed. If it does not make anything previously unseen visible, then whose manifestor will it become? Similarly, if seeing the manifestation of a cow does not generate any other view, how can it be considered a general manifestor? Then, seeing a horse would also become a manifestor of a cow. Second, in refuting the debate against the general: Although the general is non-existent, it is reasonable to apply one term. Although the general is not one, it is reasonable to produce one result. First, the way in which one term is applied even without the general. In this, there is the cutting off of doubts about other extremes, and the way in which it does not apply to others without a class. First: If there is no general entity, then how is it that one term is applied to many? Even without a single general entity with the meaning of non-difference, For many people, from the aspect of doing the activity of cooking rice and so on, it is said "cook", and similarly, relying on other and other activities, it is said "reader" and so on, one term is expressed. The second is: The application of such a single term to many people is not applied even without a class of non-difference. If it is said that it is applied because there is the activity of cooking, Since the activity of cooking of each person is extremely different, the activity is not the cause of applying that one term to many. Because you have already admitted that if there is no one non-different thing, one term will not be applied to many. If it is said that even though the activities are different, the class of activities is non-different, that is the cause of applying one term, Then, the class of this activity is not the object of expression by the term "cook", because the class of activity is related to that activity. If the class of activity is expressed, it only makes one understand the term "cooking", and the term "cooking" is weaker than "cook", because it is the reason for another term, just as the objects of expression of horse and cow are different. Even though the objects of expression are different, it is understood through relation, for example, when expressing the class of activity. The activity and its class correspond, and are related through aggregation. The activity and the substance of the person
