If someone asks, even if it is not, why is it said to be valid cognition? The answer is: if it is not said like this, it is impossible to distinguish the difference between being able to negate and not being able to negate merely because one has not seen it. Therefore, it is said to be valid cognition merely as a category of negation. If so, wouldn't it become a semblance of a sign? No, because it is only that the term "there must be a meat-eater in this place in front" does not apply, that is the true sign. Therefore, the so-called "negation of the term 'certainly exists'" means "negation of the application of the term 'certainly exists'." Who is negated? It is the lineage of those who have become past events. If so, doesn't it also prevent the application of the term 'certainly does not exist'? Although the term 'certainly does not exist' does not apply, it is not the result of not seeing, so there is no need to say it. In reality, this is because the cause of applying the term 'certainly exists' is not seen, so the result is negated. If someone asks, why is it that even if that place is not seen, it cannot be negated? It is like this: the objects to be measured are the very hidden, the manifest, and the hidden. The means of measuring them are scripture, direct perception, and inference. If none of these three can measure existence or non-existence, then what cannot be measured for the time being or what has not been measured by it cannot be absolutely proven to be either existent or non-existent. Therefore, to prove that there are certainly no meat-eaters here in front, it must be related to the occasion of pure treatises measured by the three, scripture, discipline, and treatises. Therefore, it cannot be proven by scripture, and those past events are beyond the scope of the senses of those who have passed away, so they cannot be measured by direct perception. Even if the past events have become true signs of non-existence, for that person, temporarily becoming non-existent meat-eaters, etc., even if the past person has not seen existence, how can it be proven that it certainly does not exist merely because he has not seen it? It cannot be proven. Similarly, for proving existence, one should also combine scripture, direct perception, and the absence of resultant signs. Therefore, because the sign of not seeing is not the result of that place certainly existing or certainly not existing, the past events themselves will not become valid cognition that recognizes certainty of existence or certainty of non-existence. Therefore, reversing the three, direct perception, inference, and scripture, is called past events. If there is a correct scripture and sign that proves existence or non-existence, then in all aspects

It also does not change in kalpas. Therefore, here it is said from the standpoint of the absence of those three. Moreover, those who assert that something does not exist merely because it is not seen are the materialists, etc., who say that the afterlife and the results of giving do not exist merely because they are not seen. Secondly, there are two: not seeing and seeing the contradictory. First, regarding not seeing, can it become a valid means of negating that object? Yes, it can. Because the sign of not seeing has the particularity or superiority of being able to negate that object, some become the valid means of negating that object. Although it is the same as not seeing, not seeing what can be seen can negate, and similarly, seeing the contradictory can also negate the other. Then, didn't it say earlier that even if it is not seen, it is not a valid means of negating non-existence? The answer is: it is said that for the nature, that is, the essence, and its way of knowing, that is, the sign, because it cannot appear, it cannot be known or cannot appear. The reason why it cannot be established that something does not exist merely because it is not seen is talking about this situation, not saying that not seeing what can be seen cannot establish non-existence. This is to distinguish between the two. Therefore, if the cause that can be seen is not seen or cannot be known by valid means, then the sign can establish that its effect does not exist, because the effect without a cause is impossible. For the pervader, such as the nature of things like trees, the pervaded that is pervaded is the subject of proof like pine trees, if the nature of the pervader is not seen, it can also become a negative sign, because when the pervader disappears, the pervaded cannot exist. If that is the case, Some reasons with the cause of unseen relations will lead to the failure to understand that those related objects do not exist. The cause of making the visible vase, etc., separated from the three times, invisible, that is, the obstacle to seeing, such as invisible mantras, etc., when it is determined to be impossible, the visible object vase, etc., through the sign of unseen, it can be determined that the object does not exist in that place. If you think that the unseen vase is obvious, and if it is necessary to prove it through signs, it is too much. In fact, it is not to prove the unseen, but to let everyone know that if you can see but do not see, you should use the word "determine non-existence". In order to understand this, a conceptual reasoning was carried out, below
