Therefore, since the existing thing has not done any act of abandoning the non-self related to the opposite, it is as useless as the descendants of sin. These two verses have many different explanations by the commentators, but in reality they are not contradictory, but are explained in this way according to the position of the self-commentary. Therefore, there is nothing in the opposite, so there is no difference at all in meaning. The terms of sound and thought, even on one thing can be divided into many, so on the thing that is the subject, the vase, even if it is verbally said that there is something opposite from the non-vase, but because the non-self has not been eliminated, it is only a state of decisiveness that reverses the mind, so there is no contradiction in saying that. If, like being influenced by sound, one thinks that there is a difference in meaning, then that is completely wrong. Therefore, in the meaning of self-character, blue itself is existent as substance, but the opposite is not existent as substance, it is only a imputed part, so thinking that there is no other exclusion in meaning is also the idea of measuring that there is no different entity, and there is no contradiction. Just because it is blue, it excludes non-blue, which is an inseparable existence in which there is no difference in meaning, therefore, this side that says that there is other exclusion in the meaning of self-character, when speaking of the terms of exclusion and entry, because it is established by having to admit it, so one should adhere to this side. If one thinks that exclusion is non-existent and blue is existent, so blue itself exists in the realm of appearance, but how does exclusion itself exist? Saying that these two are one in meaning is also just imputation, because they cannot have a common basis. Then, for this term of negation and affirmation, it does not appear to be completely expressed by only one single word, affirmation also implies negation, and negation also implies that complete cutting off is established, etc., because there is nothing that does not show, so it is difficult to establish that appearing as blue does not exclude non-blue, therefore, the realm of appearance is mainly affirmation, decisiveness is implied to be established, other exclusion is mainly negation, complete cutting off is implied to be established, and if one distinguishes from their respective opposites, one can explain without confusion. On the nature of the meaning vase, impermanence is established, but there is no difference, so it was said. Therefore, for the nature of the meaning itself, no term of sound concept applies, but because it must also be thought that the terms and meanings match and do not deceive the meaning, so according to the way of acknowledging that term, one can comfortably

Mind. The fourth debate is to refute the later sound concept becoming meaningless: If the difference between a tree and a non-tree is not different, then, because one does not want a universal different from that either. When the sound that is not different from impermanence is held in the mind, then all the dharmas that are non-different from it will also be held. If that is the case, then the entry of sound and later valid cognition will become meaningless. Answer: Because different reverses are not established on the self-character, this fault will not occur, because the self-character does not appear in the realm of concept. Because concepts can cut off different gains, there will be no real existence of different reverses, because the negation of merely eliminating gains is a negation of non-existence. It is impossible for concepts not to eliminate gains, because the causes of internal and external confusion may lead to inverted attachments to things. Therefore, such a debate is due to the power of clinging to the appearance, examination, and mixture in the face of the conceptual mind. When distinguishing the meaning mixed with permanence, such as sound, etc., one clings to impermanence, etc. When distinguishing these confusions, from the sound of impermanence, the cause that can establish it, such as made, etc., is only that cause that acts to cut off permanence on the sound, and the sound and cause cannot cut off other gains. On such a sound realm, what is distinguished by other distinctions, becoming the spoken of the self-character of things, has nothing, because the appearance realm of the conceptual mind only shows the part of eliminating others on the gain. If the sound speaks in the way of establishing the self-character of the spoken object, then from it all the dharmas of that self-character will be realized, because the realm that is non-different from the dharmas that are non-different from oneself and one's own nature is the power of one thing itself, not the power of the mind. Therefore, because that self-character is not in the realm of this concept that has the realm of elimination, there is no that fault. Although there are no different reverses on things, the sound concept enters the reverse of its own realm in sequence, therefore, the result of cutting off gains separately, such as permanence and unmade, etc., the sound of impermanence and made, etc., and many causes, also depend on one sound, etc.
