Because abiding itself possesses the complete cause, it would follow that consciousness does not revert. If that is the case, then even at the time of death and fainting, as long as the body exists, consciousness will not revert. Second, it is not permissible to answer if the conducive conditions are not complete. It is not an answer if there are opposing conditions. First, the way in which obstruction and self are not the same. First, the opponent says: After death, the mind does not arise from the body because the breath is not complete. If you say that, it is not so, because if the mind is present, then the exhalation and inhalation of breath are present. The length of the breath, etc., is also under the control of the mind, because the exhalation and inhalation of breath arise from the mind, and it is not that the mind arises from the breath. The result of the cause on which it depends becomes the master, but it is impossible for the result to master the cause again. It is also reasonable to say, "If it exists, it exists," because what is the reason for exhaling and inhaling breath without the effort of a person associated with the mind? It is not seen in other stones, etc. Because one has attained the effortless entry of the habit of mind, wherever there is a continuum of mind, due to that cause, in both waking and sleeping states, the exhalation and inhalation of breath also enter effortlessly, just like the potter turning the wheel. If consciousness arises from breath, then the increase and decrease of breath would lead to the increase and decrease of wisdom, because it is impossible for the result not to follow the cause. Another fault is that it is unreasonable to say merely that the breath is incomplete, because the cause of the breath is the existence of the body, so it would follow that the dead body also produces breath. Second, if the mind is the cause of the breath, even if the mind does not revert from the body, and the mind exists, breath will also arise, so if you say that breath will never revert from the body, this is the same fault, but if you admit that body and mind always exist together, there will be this fault, but we do not admit that these two always exist together. How is it? Because we consider that karma and other motivators that cause the mind to abide in the body are also causes. To make this easier to understand, combine this: Because the motivator of abiding, the others, are also the cause.

That's what is thought. That's what it means. The word ཀྱང་ (Tibetan) indicates that the function of attraction is the cause of the body and mind staying together as long as they exist. It is not only the cause of breathing, etc., but also a condition for survival. If there is no movement of breath, it is not possible, so that is also attraction. That life cannot exist without being connected to consciousness, so consciousness must also be the cause of that breath. In this way, if you sleep deeply, you should know many important points such as breathing. Second is the later answer, first stating the other party's point of view, and then refuting it. First, if, like a tree hindered by moisture, or like seeds smeared with sesame oil, etc., like me, etc., are made incompatible with the arising of mind by faults, or made powerless, then the dead body is not the cause of the arising of mind, if you say so. Second is: The so-called incompatibility caused by faults is just that the components of the body, the elements, increase and decrease in disorder, just imbalance, there is nothing else. Just imbalance is not the cause of the mind's regression, because the mind also exists in the bodies of sick people. If it is said that it was killed by some incompatibility that makes it impossible to generate mind, then that kind of incompatibility should also regress after death, because there is no reason not to regress. If it does not regress, then worms and other things should not be produced from the corpse either. If it is said that because of death, the faults have disappeared, that is, regressed, then when there is no incompatibility between the elements and the particles exist equally in their respective positions, they will again become conscious and alive as before, because the elements of the dead body have no so-called incompatibility, because the particles exist in their own positions. In this way, if the constituent elements have an imbalance difference and cannot be used as a cause, then it is difficult to find balance in the land and other places, so it is also difficult to achieve the generation of sentient beings from the elements. The difference of imbalance, plagues and other faults, are only seen in living beings, and should not exist in corpses and other inanimate things. Second, first state the other party's point of view, and then refute it. First, if fire regresses, but the change of wood, coal will not become wood again, even if the faults disappear, the mind will not regress again, if you say so. Second, briefly explain.
