And it also accomplishes constant arising. Just this is enough to refute the wrong views of the Far-Reaching School and others who believe that there are no past and future lives. Furthermore, if analyzed in detail, as explained in the scriptures, if carefully observed, during sleep and other times, the coarse consciousnesses gradually disappear, but the subtle ones do not. Even if the subtle ones disappear, the alaya consciousness does not disappear, and even if the alaya consciousness disappears, the mind of clear light never disappears, therefore the mind cannot be permanently cut off, and therefore it is also accomplished that wisdom is constantly unceasing. Because if there were no element or seed of mind that has existed since beginningless time, it would be impossible to know the arising of liberation and confusion. These principles are explained in other vehicles in an increasingly clear manner. The Ornament of the Sutras also says: "The nature of the mind is always naturally clear light, it is defiled by adventitious faults, the mind other than the mind of the Dharma nature is not clear light, it is said to be the nature." As it is said, know that the nature of the mind is clear light, and because of universal discrimination, it revolves in the three realms. Therefore, these above-mentioned reasons must ultimately lead to this accomplished meaning, therefore it is very important. Second, refuting simultaneous dependence. Refuting the unreasonable other's position, establishing the reasonable own position. First, analyzing the existence or non-existence of the dependent and refuting it. Analyzing the arising and ceasing of the dependent and refuting it. First, analyzing the existence or non-existence of the dependent and refuting it. The way to refute the other's position in that way. First, refuting the refutation and the answer to it. First, if the body and mind are simultaneous, the mind dwells in the body. Then, what does it mean to dwell simultaneously? If at that time, they do not help each other, just like a collection of a vase and a felt, then it cannot be the dependent and the depended upon. If it is thought that they help each other, and the dependent makes the depended upon dwell, then, does the dependent that makes it dwell act as the dependent with its own entity being substantially existent? Or does it act as the dependent with non-existence? The existent has already been established and does not need any dependent, and the non-existent cannot be acted upon as a dependent, therefore whether it is existent or non-existent, because for these, there is no becoming a dependent, therefore they cannot help each other simultaneously, therefore there is no dependent. If it is said that, the non-existent cannot be acted upon as a dependent is unreasonable, but the already established substantially existent place cause is called the dependent, then, for this existent, the dependent can

Therefore, there is no need to analyze. The reason is that the word "existence" does not refer to anything other than the existence itself already established, that is, there is no difference, so dependence does not produce any particularity of existence. If the word "existence" is different from the existent, even if it is assumed that dependence is the cause of "existence" different from the existent, then what act of existence does dependence do to the thing it depends on? In fact, it does nothing. Doing other things is like a potter making a pot, not making a cow exist. If there is no dependence, it will not exist, and if dependence makes it exist, then what is already established does not need to exist, and if dependence makes it exist for a long time without being destroyed, then dependence makes it not destroyed, then dependence will never be destroyed. If it is not that it will never be destroyed, but that the destruction of dependence is caused by a later cause, then the same inference applies to destruction, that is, does the cause of destruction destroy things that exist simultaneously with itself, or does it destroy things that do not exist? It cannot destroy existing things, nor can it destroy non-existent things. Or, if the thing and destruction are the same, then there is no need for a cause of destruction, and if they are different, then the thing not being destroyed is also the same. Even if the cause of destruction destroys the thing, then what does the cause of existence do to its existence? If it does not meet the cause of destruction, there is no need to make it exist, and if it meets it, it cannot make it exist. If dependence makes it exist before it meets the cause of destruction, then if it does not meet the cause of destruction, it has not made it exist, then it will be destroyed immediately. If so, even if there is no other cause of destruction, it will destroy itself, therefore, destruction is inherent in the nature of things, and there is nothing that can hinder or harm it, therefore, the cause of existence cannot do anything to make it not destroyed, so there is no need. If it can be done, why can't it make it not destroyed even if it meets the cause of destruction? Because that is much easier than this. Second, if, for example, things like water and containers already exist, just as they depend on containers and substances, because dependence and being depended on are clearly seen, it cannot be denied, then, water
