Because of transformation, the power of medicine and mantras cannot be truly ascertained by oneself without the instruction of others. Even with such understanding, there will be noble beings who transcend the senses of ordinary people and can see the true meaning. The nature of things does not work in a step-by-step manner, because it is seen that some achieve quickly, and some, even with effort, cannot produce results quickly. Therefore, things achieved by nature should not have such differences, because they must arise without relying on other factors. If it is thought that the result arises from the difference in the increase of virtue and non-virtue, that is not necessarily the case. For in the tantra of the Dakinis, it is said that killing and eating animals will accomplish mantras; similarly, in the Sister Tantra, it is said that engaging in sexual intercourse will accomplish mantras; in the Conch-Bearing Woman Tantra, it is said that engaging in thieving behavior will accomplish mantras, and there are such vows established. Those actions that contradict the Dharma, even if they do not become the cause of accomplishing mantras, they do so, reversing from actions such as love, and accomplishing by their own vows, because they practice together with the main mantra practitioner who shares the same fate. By the power of his blessing, for whose benefit the mantra is applied and the command is given, the corresponding effect will arise. If asked: How can the desired result be obtained from non-virtue? Obtaining the result is not the ripening of non-virtue, but obtaining the desired benefit is the ripening of previous karma, obtained through the condition of the mantra. For example, if a Brahmin says: Kill this one, and I will give you the land. If this vow is earnestly fulfilled, even if the village is obtained by killing the Brahmin, that is not the ripening result of killing the Brahmin, but is related to the act of fulfilling the promise of another and one's own karma. The ripening result of harming others with illegal mantras and killing Brahmins is that in the future, one will suffer undesirable results such as hell. Therefore, the synergistic effects of things mutually benefiting each other are diverse. Even when performing mantras, it is not necessarily the case that one must be a special person, because some people think that even some ordinary people who do not possess wisdom and ability can make their newly created mantras work.

Where? Even now, some ordinary people, such as scholars or wise men of the Akashagarbha and other lineages, still perform some unprecedented secret mantras, such as pacifying poisons. However, the mantras they perform are the main power of the deity Akashagarbha and others themselves to accomplish or rely on. The main reason is that they have entered into the reasoning spoken by the main deity, that is, the vows and oral instructions, and because of the blessing of the main deity, that person also becomes capable of holding mantras. Among them, the vow is not to violate what is taught in that treatise as to what should be taken or abandoned, such as entering the mandala. Oral instructions are the sequential methods for accomplishing that deity. These are suitable and reasonable for accomplishing that deity, so they are called reasoning, which is the name of what should be accepted. Therefore, before the new mantra holder's mantra gains power, how much power is gained, that much wisdom and power is gained. For that reason alone, one will not become like an ordinary person, so the above reason is not uncertain. Third, conclusion. Because it is believed that there will be results from practicing mantras, mantras are not permanent, but are created by conditions. Then, who created them? It should be said that they were created by people with wisdom and power. Otherwise, it is impossible for mantras to produce results. Second, to explain how reason eliminates the view that people do not have the ability to hold mantras. The way to eliminate it is to briefly explain, and other reasons are explained in detail. First: The barbers and others believe that people do not have the ability to hold mantras, just like people on the great road. That is to say, because the power of each mantra is beyond the scope of the senses, there are no people who can see these powers, so it is believed that people do not have the ability to hold mantras, and this reasoning that proves that mantras are created by special people has already eliminated this view. Second: There is no argument to prove that there are no extraordinary people. If they think so, then state the harm to their commitment. First: Having intelligence or having senses, and being able to speak, and being a person himself, etc., using the word "etc." to include having hands and other dharmas that others have as a sign, and then saying that this person is extraordinary.

If, like saying "like a man on a great road," what is said as proof is an uncertain seeming-valid cognition, because it possesses the residue of doubt about the counter-pervasion, therefore it is not possible to realize or accomplish the meaning of what is to be proven as it is. Even if one has intelligence, the doubt that one is outstanding cannot be dispelled. Similarly, apply this to the senses and so forth as well. Secondly: It is unreasonable for a person to ascertain the meaning of the Vedas, and the meaning of the Vedas is not uniquely certain. Therefore, it is an uncertain conclusion. Firstly: Refuting the entity and its proof. Firstly: The sound of the Vedas does not say, "I am the meaning of this object to be expressed, and I am not the meaning of this object," but rather, a person such as a royal diviner investigates, "This meaning is this." If that is the case, then that royal diviner also possesses desire and so forth, and is not outstanding, because he is similar to an ordinary person. Therefore, who has made the distinction that that royal diviner alone knows the reality of the Vedas and that others do not? There is no distinction. If the royal diviner is able to know, then similarly others can also know, because you do not accept that some ordinary people are endowed with the knowledge of objects beyond the senses, since they are the same in all respects. Secondly: The opponent says: If there are many who explain the Vedas, but whoever's words, like those of a royal diviner, are seen not to be deceived by direct perception and inference, then that person knows the meaning of the Vedas without error. Even if it can be determined by reasoning, it is not possible to have a valid cognition that determines that his words are not deceptive with regard to extremely obscure objects, such as obtaining higher realms from Dharma. Then, how is it certain that the royal diviner and others have explained the meaning of the Vedas without error? Because with regard to objects beyond the senses, one cannot judge for oneself, nor can the royal diviner, because they are the same. Furthermore, because it is obtained by implication that the words of whoever have been proven not to be deceived by valid cognition are authoritative, it is meaningless to assert that words not spoken by a person are authoritative. If
