It exists within. So, how are the five letters, namely two consonants and two vowels along with a separator, from "A dra Ah" arranged in order by a person? The order of those letters arises from the knowledge of the motivation of the person speaking in whatever order, because it depends entirely on that. That is, when the mind focused on 'sa' and its life 'a' arises simultaneously, and subsequently focusing on 'ra' with life and separator arises sequentially, the previous mind immediately becomes the condition for the subsequent one, and because of familiarity with the symbols, it arises quickly without effort, and even from each letter, if there is no motivation of wanting to speak, there will be no verbal utterance of the letter as its result. Thus, from that knowledge of motivation, the sound uttered in speech by prompting actions etc., also arises in the same order as the motivation. When sound is uttered sequentially, the subsequent sound, which is characterized by the preceding letter, is definitely apprehended because the auditory consciousness is clear. Since it is the consciousness generated immediately by the preceding auditory consciousness, it has a different appearance to the auditory consciousness. When that sound is heard, the listener understands the order enough to be able to determine the name and category etc., not very quickly. For some very fast sounds, it is necessary to ask again, just as the speaker has already spoken in order, but the listener is not sure. Thus, when the ear consciousness hears the sound in sequence, relying on the memory of not forgetting the previous one, later, connecting all the forms of the sound, it generates the memory focused on the essence of the sign, name, word and language that understands what the meaning is. That way is the order of the arising of the cause motivation, the sound self-character, and the mind holding its meaning. It is said that such an order is the order of the cause and effect of the letters. The order of arranging the sound of the cause motivation and the result letter, or the cause letter and the result name etc., is like that. Or, one also sees reciting: cause and holding mind, letters are cause and effect.

These sequences are created by individuals. Therefore, the nature of letters such as "Sa (ས།)" and "Ra (ར།)" changes from words like "SaRa (ས་ར་)" and "Ra ḥ (རཿ)" to other meanings. Due to the influence of the conceptual activities of the expresser (referring to a person), the letters are combined together in different sequences, thereby producing distinct objects to be expressed, such as fruit and ocean. Therefore, although the letters that enable the understanding of different meanings are also different, due to the similarity in form, the notion of clinging to a single letter arises. Similarly, the various sequences of letters can be newly created as desired by individuals, being either compliant or autonomous. That is, it can form a sequence that does not contradict what a person wants to express, or rather, the sequence is already established, just like applying stretching and contracting as desired. Therefore, the sequence does not reside in the nature of the letter itself. If it did, it would contradict the fact that a person can freely create any desired sequence. Because, for compounded phenomena, if the order cannot be interchanged like mountains, or if the order of soil and seedlings cannot be reversed, then for things with a constant order, applying it as desired would become contradictory in every way. Due to this reason, individuals and letters are established as cause and effect. Therefore, all letter sequences, such as the Vedas, must arise from the cause—the individual, which is established by the logic of cause and effect following and reversing. For example, just like the logic of establishing the cause and effect relationship between fire and wood. Thirdly, the person who forms the sequence of letters called "mantra" through the wisdom of mastering mantra combinations and rituals, and through the accomplishment of mantra blessings and the power of truth, is merely uncommon compared to other individuals. Because although others can combine words, they do not have such wisdom and power. If they did, then everyone would combine mantras, because it is very necessary. If it is said that even if this sequence is not created by a person, it inherently has such power, then even if it can be thought so, ordinary people would not think that this sequence has such power.
