Because it is constant in nature, constant dharmas cannot have the function of dependent origination, so relying on conditions to produce results is absolutely impossible for constant mantras. Third, the actual faults and the refutation of avoiding faults. First, if the Vedic mantras are not made by humans, but are the power of things themselves, then the Vedic mantras do not depend on the differences of reciters such as Brahmins, and will also accomplish things for all sinners such as Chandalas, just like fire and medicine, etc. Second, one should not rely on the author, and the sound of the mantra should not depend on whether it is clear or not. First, if the Brahmins who recite the mantras, etc., produce results for them because they have performed offerings well, but not for other Chandalas, etc., then if the constant mantra produces results, it does not depend on the difference of good deeds, because it should not depend on good deeds. Therefore, the difference of the mantra reciters, Brahmins and Chandalas, etc., should not be relied upon, let alone the constant dharma does not depend on others. Even the difference of things that are the result or power of things made by things is caused by different causes, so the difference of the author does not determine the difference of power, just like the function of the heat of fire does not depend on the difference between Brahmins and Chandalas. Although it is similar to sowing seeds, growing more in a blessed field is not done by the cause itself, but because the causes of growing more are gathered together. In the constant mantra where there is no gathering of causes, if the difference of the author leads to the production or non-production of results, then it becomes just doing it to it. Doing it to it is impossible, because the mantra is non-discriminating, and Brahmins and Chandalas are also established by discriminating thoughts, so they are not established in essence. For example, distinguishing castes is because of seeing different shapes, qualities, and abilities, just like distinguishing horses and cows, etc., but people do not regard these people as Brahmins and those people as Chandalas, so castes are not established in essence. Relying on the difference of actions, they are called Brahmins, etc. by names and terms, just like the names of livelihoods and merchants, etc.

It is unreasonable to say that the Vedic mantras only produce results when recited by pure individuals such as Brahmins, but not when recited by others such as Chandalas. If it is made by a person, then it may be possible to produce results due to the difference of the maker, because the maker of the mantra is called a Brahmin, and they have created the mantra to achieve their goals, so the mantra will be as they wish. If not, if the mantra is permanent and cannot be changed by conditions, then no matter how hard the practitioner of the mantra tries, how can the permanent mantra become the maker of the result? It is like no matter how hard you try in the sky, you cannot produce flowers. Secondly, if it is thought that it is not just the mantra itself that produces the result, but the clear sound of the mantra produced by the tongue, palate, etc., that connects to the result, then this has already been refuted above, because it is impossible for a permanent thing to have something that did not exist before but appears later. Furthermore, from the self-characteristic of the mantra, the auditory consciousness that has it as its object is called the manifestation of the mantra, and if this is connected to the result of peace, etc., then the speaker, such as a Brahmin, is the cause of the manifestation of the mantra, just as the speaker himself produces auditory consciousness, so the listener, such as a Chandala, also has auditory consciousness, so the listener should also be related to the result of the mantra and obtain the result, because the manifestation of the mantra sound is the cause, and this is no different for the speaker and the listener, so it is impossible for the result not to follow the cause. Furthermore, for sounds that are not manifest, the practice of whispering with the action of the tongue, palate, etc., or the practice of mental recitation without relying on action at all, will become meaningless, because sound is only the object of auditory consciousness, and without sound, it cannot be considered reciting the mantra. If it is said that although there is no actual sound in whispering, etc., it exists indirectly, because the consciousness generated from the self-characteristic of the sound itself is, so the consciousness that appears as the mantra sound in the mind is also the manifestation of the mantra, so it is meaningful, then, even if it is allowed that there is a situation where it appears as the mantra sound, it cannot be proved that it is the consciousness with the self-characteristic of the sound as the object, because even without the self-characteristic, there is its own image.
