The negation and non-existence, etc., on the second moment of a vase do not exist in the first moment. They do not exist in the third moment. Although they exist in their own time, if one considers such things to be occasional permanence, if such a thing that did not exist before and does not exist after exists for the duration of a single moment, if it does not become impermanent, then there is no reason to establish the moment of self-character as more impermanent than its manner, so the two would become the same. Moreover, although it did not exist before and newly exists, it is not produced. If it does not remain after the second moment but is not destroyed, then how wonderful is that! As it is said, therefore, if one examines well, without a negation-holder, its negation cannot be established, so although it cannot be established before or after its own time, the reason why it does not become impermanent is that the negation-holder, from the aspect of turning away from other things, is called its negation, it is merely a form of imputation, but if one examines from the aspect of the negation itself, apart from the part that is absent in the other object to be negated, it does not have any other dharma such as arising, etc., therefore, there is no essence to be established as impermanent on it, which is the ultimate key point. If that is the case, then there is also no essence to be established as permanent on it, because negation is without essence. Abiding and non-abiding are not conceptualizations. As it is said. Although it does not exist in reality, because there is no cause for cessation. If one applies the term "permanent," what is contradictory? Because there is no cause for arising, it is good not to impute permanence or impermanence, but if one assumes its essence to be permanent merely from the aspect of not having a cause for cessation, although it does not exist in reality, because it exists as an appearance in the face of conceptualization for just a moment, applying the term "impermanent" would not be contradictory. If one thinks that appearance in the face of conceptualization is merely imputation, then permanence is also merely imputation. Therefore, there is no contradiction in the meaning of what is said that all existing things are pervaded by impermanence. That is to say, the appearance of two moons exists, but the key point is that the establishment of two moons does not exist, because the appearance of two moons does not exist before or after not seeing the moon, but therefore the second moon will not become permanent or impermanent, because it is merely a clear appearance that does not exist, because two moons are not established. Similarly, the negation that is different from the object is merely seen as two by the power of words in the face of conceptual consciousness, but in reality, the otherness is the way of permanence.

It also does not exist in other aspects. If so, wouldn't the exclusion of others in terms of meaning also become unestablished like the two moons? Even if the exclusion of others in terms of meaning does not exist as a difference on the level of meaning, like the two moons, the power of the essence of things being completely determined is not without distinction. Although there is no darkness when appearance is established, there is no darkness different from appearance on the level of appearance, just like there is no other. Therefore, saying there is no darkness and saying there is appearance are not contradictory in meaning, just as when one exists, it is impossible for the other not to be established. Now, the second case, even if existence is stated, the way it becomes a valid sign for proving impermanence is: sound is the subject, it is impermanent, because it exists. When stated in this way, it is not necessary to grasp existence as a characteristic of the subject sound, because the sign is to prove that the subject does not possess a certain characteristic, not to prove that it possesses it. Therefore, it is not necessary to state the existence specific to sound, but only to state the reason as existence or thing. The thing or existence itself becomes the pervader, so there is no deficiency in following the object to be proven, impermanence, because the pervader can be established. The third case, the way in which considering the principal as the object to be proven and stating existence as the sign are not the same is: it is not possible to prove the existence of the principal with any sign, because even if the essence of the principal is not established, no matter what is stated as belonging to the nature of existence, it will not be established for it, just like stating the ability to function or being white, etc., as proof of the existence of a barren woman's son. If relying on both aspects of existence and non-existence, whatever signs are indicated by words that prove knowable things, etc., or words that negate non-embodied things, etc., because things can apply to both existence and non-existence, it will become confusing and uncertain in proving it. And stating the nature of non-existence, such as emptiness that can function, etc., will become a contradictory sign for proving existence. Therefore, no matter what sign of the extent of knowledge is stated for it, it is impossible to go beyond the three pseudo-signs, so the existence of the principal cannot be proven by any sign. The fourth case, the way in which stating existence is a valid sign, along with examples, is shown. Thing and constant
