If it does not merely follow it, even if it is different from the former, but since the general does not rely on manifestation, how can one see the general by relying on manifestation? Therefore, setting it up in this way is only a cause of exhaustion. Second, refuting specifically: Refuting non-pervasion beyond its own basis; Refuting pervasion in all places where its own basis exists or does not exist. First, the Samkhya sage said that the general pervades everywhere, to which his disciple Beta thought that the general pervades all its own bases of manifestation, and does not exist in places without manifestation. Beluka thought that if that were the case, it would become non-pervasive everywhere, so he thought that it pervades all places where manifestation exists or does not exist. Regarding the first view, it can be said that when a new cow is born in a place where there were no cows before, the general existing in other manifestations does not leave its own basis, and it is not the case that it existed before in the place where the new cow is born, nor is it the case that it exists after the new manifestation has arisen, because what existed before is permanent. Moreover, it is not the case that it has parts, with one part remaining in the previous state and one part moving to the later state, because it has no parts. Since the previous basis is not completely abandoned, the previous general is not transferred to other places, so admitting such a view is, alas, only a cause of exhaustion, lacking or impoverished of a valid reason. If the previous manifestation remains in another place, then if it is said that it does not leave its own previous basis, but remains on the thing that newly arises from there, that is saying something very reasonable, which is saying the opposite, just like water remains in a vase, but pervades the whole room. Wherever the later arising object remains, it has never been connected with that place, and if it pervades the manifestations of those places, that is very strange, just like admitting that there is no vase in this place, but saying that the people in this place have a vase. The second view is: If, according to the second view, the general exists in all places where its own basis of manifestation exists or does not exist, then when that general is manifested by manifestation in one place, since that general has no difference, then the general pervading all places should be seen. That which exists in the place without manifestation also

Light does not depend on other lights, because what is seen from one light is the part without other differences. If what is seen depends on each light and is different, then the single indivisible cannot be established. If it cannot be seen from one light, then it cannot be seen from many lights either. Furthermore, a horse is also pervaded by the characteristics of a cow, so all things would be given the names and concepts of all things. Thus, if the lights in the world, such as lamps, are not understood, then before that, if the objects to be illuminated, such as vases, are not certainly known to exist, why do you want to reverse the general and the things that possess it? Thus, even in a place where there is no light illuminating a cow, you still admit that there is a general object to be illuminated. If this is the case, then it is admitted that light has already existed in advance without illumination. On this, most Indian commentaries explain that if the basis of difference, the general, is not understood, the specific parts of difference cannot be understood, which is admitted by their own school, so why do they now reverse it? If you say that even without a lamp, it is like a vase in a dark room. If it has never been revealed even once in a dark room, how can its existence be determined? Similarly, no matter which light, it cannot appear in an empty place outside of its own existing state, so there is no reason to determine its existence. Therefore, wherever cows etc. appear, it is only the appearance, and no other general object to be illuminated is noticed. The appearance of the cow itself is only the appearance, and there is no reason to call it light, because it does not illuminate anything else. If a lamp is noticed in an empty place, it is only the lamp itself that is noticed, but if it does not illuminate anything that has not been seen before, then whose light will it become? Similarly, if seeing the light of a cow does not generate any other insights, how can it be said to be the light of the general? Then, seeing a horse will also become the light of a cow. Second, the refutation of the argument against the rejection of the general. Even if the general is not real, it can be applied to the same word. Even without a single general, a single result can be produced. First, even without a general, the way to apply the same word. To this, cutting off doubts about other aspects, and without kind.
