I myself never admit that as a cause. If that is the case, even if there is no object, the dharma that is merely sound and meaning is the basis of what is to be established at this time, and since there is no obstruction, there is no fault in the reason. At this time, the Indian commentaries do not say more than a summary, and the Tibetan commentaries have various different statements, although this is only inconsistent with other ways of explaining, but if you do this, you can easily understand, otherwise it is only a rough understanding, it is difficult to understand thoroughly, so wise people should think carefully and gain certainty on special points. Third, the conclusion. Because the dharma that the opponent himself admits is what is to be established, therefore, if there is harm to its basis, it is a fault of the proposition. It is not necessary to examine whether the dharma that is only not the self-basis harms the basis of other established dharmas, this word "self-basis" shows this. For example, in the definition of the subject, the word "self" is said, indicating that since it harms other dharmas that the opponent himself does not admit, it is not harming the subject. Similarly, when excluding, the meaning of the word "one's own dharma" is that even if it harms other dharmas that are not the basis of what is to be established at this time, it is not excluded. Second, it is shown that the non-establishment of difference, etc., is not the fault of the exclusion of the subject. If the Vaisheshika school proposes to the Buddhist that "I pervade all places," then in the eyes of the Buddhist, the difference or the self of the basis is not established. If the Buddhist says to the Samkhya school that "sound is impermanent," then in the eyes of the Samkhya school, sound is established, but the destruction established as its difference is not established. If the Vaisheshika school says that "I am the cause of combination," then in the eyes of the Buddhist, both the difference and the difference are not established. Therefore, these are also faults of the subject, although the author of Joyful Lord said so, why is it not said so in the Abhidharmakosha? Like that is not a fault of the subject, because the faults of establishing the reason, etc., are harmful to establishing the subject itself, because that subject cannot be established, so even if it becomes incorrect at that time, it does not depend on the establisher.
