Therefore, for the sounds of arbitrary expression, the meaning expressed is actually established. For example, the word "vase" is not used for something with a rabbit, but the word "moon" is used, which is inexplicable, but due to the power of things, it is certain that it will be used, just like the heat of fire. In order to refute those who hold this view, it has been shown that fame and inference do not harm. Whether it is arbitrary or subsequent, it can be expressed by any symbol that represents that meaning, just like the differences in languages in different regions. Therefore, once people agree that a combination of letters represents this or that meaning, such attachment arises, so all nouns and terms that can be explained are subsequent, and those that cannot be explained are arbitrary. How does the essence of an arbitrary name relate to things freely? Because they apply merely through intention, without relying on the power of things. Third, regarding the meaning of distinguishing fame and exclusion: things and their accompanying, detailed explanations of trust, fame, and exclusion. First, fame is an object that depends on the intention to express, therefore, in order to show the difference in the object to which the ability applies, even though fame is not something outside of inference, it is distinguished, just as trust was previously distinguished from inference. That is, the power of fame does not apply to all objects of the power of things, and in order to prevent objects that can be applied with symbols merely through intention, inference excludes fame. Therefore, inference generally refers to objects in the realm of things, and from there one can infer very hidden things that rely on scripture, and things that can be expressed based on fame, therefore, know that if a commitment is made to things that contradict each other, then the exclusion of each other will occur. Second, since all non-direct cognitive measure exclusions are established on inference, fame and trust are both included in it, but in order to explain how they meet the needs by harming their unique fields, the examples of these two trusts and fame are fully elaborated in the commentary on the Compendium of Topics, with reasons, such as, "Measure does not realize the meaning to be measured," which contradicts the commitment itself, and because there is nothing in common, etc.
