Second, explaining how the later arguments cause harm to other views: Fame extends to all things. To illustrate this, the example of the moon is given. This is how fame eliminates. First, what is meant by "contradicting fame arising from sound"? Because fame is not due to the power of things themselves, there is no necessity determined by the power of things themselves for each object of expression, but rather it relies on mere convention. The dharma of fame arising solely from sound, what can be expressed by it is any thing whatsoever. Because no matter what expresser is attributed to what object of expression, there is nothing to prevent it from operating merely according to one's own desire. Therefore, what can be expressed by all sounds, extending to all things, comes from the power of things themselves. Second, if a sound like "moon" cannot be attributed to all the particularities of objects of expression, but only exists in things like camphor, then this must be established by the power of things themselves. Just as hearing can only be established from sounds. Even so, because there is no such power of things, if it is admitted that it is established not by the power of things themselves but merely by fame, then for "having a rabbit" also, it cannot be denied that it is established merely by fame. Therefore, in order to know that the most famous "having a rabbit" is also not due to the power of things themselves, but is established merely through attribution, reversing from universal fame, this example of "having a rabbit is not the moon" is pointed out, illustrating how fame causes harm. Third: The object of harm and the subject of harm are clearly indicated. Explaining how the harm is caused. First, if it is admitted that "having a rabbit is not the moon," then worldly fame is actually exhausted, but if it is thought how this harms those who do not wish to operate through the power of fame, but rather through the power of sound itself, such as grammar? Those who do not wish to operate through the power of fame are actually negating all fame. Because for all things that are called names, it is impossible to establish any power of things themselves other than the power of fame. Therefore, after abandoning the power of fame, there is no other way to establish fame. Therefore, this is a misunderstanding of all fame. Preventing anything from being expressed by any sound, that is the object of harm. So, what thing with this nature causes harm? It is fame with four characteristics.

What is it? The difference of reason or cause does not depend on the object, but is conventionally established by a person's will, and it is of the nature of arising from that which is unobstructed or undeniable, just as it was previously said, "fame arising from sound." The difference of name is that which has the name "fame." The difference of essence is that the meaning to be expressed cannot be expressed by all expressers, and it will be inferred that it can obstruct. The difference of aspect is that whatever thing can be expressed by whatever sound, the deep-rooted conceptualization of believing in it is related to the object of eliminating that which is to be eliminated, and it will harm the opposite side. For example, if fame harms the vow that "that which has a rabbit is not the moon," why does it not harm "the moon cannot be spoken of"? Because that which has a rabbit is universally known to be expressible by the word "moon," and if it cannot be spoken of, then such fame cannot exist either. Similarly, that which can be expressed by the moon can also be expressed by other sounds, which is established by the power of things. If it cannot, then the moon cannot either, but since it has been proven that it can, this eliminates the unwillingness to assert fame, just as by proving impermanence, permanence is directly eliminated, and then non-fabrication is eliminated as well. Second, things and other meanings established by them. First, the fame arising from sound, this reasoning that merely shows the assertion of fame, for the expressive sounds that merely follow convention, it is not certain that this is only this sound, the name of the same meaning, this is expressed by meaning. Therefore, if it is prevented that those sounds cannot be used for any thing, then the fame arising from sound is contradictory, if it cannot be expressed, then that which has already become famous cannot be used there either, it can be understood through inference that it is contradictory. Second, by showing that sound is used as desired, it shows that only the expressive sound that has the power of things, like this, the reason for the use of sound, is that meaning, that is, what is to be expressed, if there is no reason, the sound will not be used, so for that which has a rabbit, it can also be said that the word "moon" is used, having reasons, etc., can be explained through the door of subsequent establishment, but it cannot be used for pots, etc., because there is no reason, it is said.
