Therefore, relying on scriptures for such commitments is harmful. Second, explaining scriptural exclusion in detail is divided into three parts: things, refutations, and meaning summaries. First part: Scriptures do not harm two measurable things. Third part: Correct scriptural exclusion applies. First part: If the measure is uncertain, even if there is conflict, it is an obstacle. Therefore, the aspect with measure causes harm. First, the thing that scripture excludes is: changing the commitment of the third locus's thing, for the first two cases, even if it conflicts with scripture, it is called a conflict of strength, because it must rely on that scripture to understand. For those things that can be measured by direct perception and inference, if it conflicts with the statement in the scripture that is not determined by correct reason, then it is said to be in conflict. For example, some who accept the scriptures of the logicians say, "Sound is impermanent because it is measurable." Or similar situations, even if "made" is stated, if a true certainty about its meaning is not generated, but only self-conceit, it also conflicts with the scripture, so the scripture does not necessarily harm one's own words. Because at that time, one's own words and the words of the scripture both have the same function, and the doubt arises, "Which of these is correct?" Neither side can be completely established, but only become obstacles to each other. For example, just like saying, "My mother is a prostitute." Because this contradictory statement cannot determine that she is not a mother or determine that she is a prostitute. Therefore, if that scripture is accepted with clinging to truth, then it can only be said to be the nature of one's own words, as an argument, merely saying it does not have the power to establish what is to be proven. Second, if the meaning that one has committed to conflicts with the meaning stated in the scripture, then of these two, whichever has the measure of strength will cause harm to the other opposite side. The opposite side cannot be established, while one's own side is certain to be established. If the thing with measure harms the thing without measure, and it is not necessarily that scripture will cause harm, then for most of the meanings shown by the scriptures, there may also be commitments that contradict reason, therefore, how can the scripture that has the same function as one's own words harm the inference that corresponds to the true meaning of the committer?

Please state the reason, it is reasonable to refute the illogical with reason, and to say the opposite is a sign of lack of wisdom. If you think that your words and scriptures are inconsistent because they are sacred words, then how can you prove that it is a sacred word if it is not correct after inspection? Because it is the words of the wrongdoer, there is no difference in the words themselves. Therefore, if there is no special belief that has been verified, and it is regarded as a sacred word presumptuously, then it is reliable just because it has obtained the name of "sacred word", which has been completely refuted before. Therefore, sacred words will never cause harm to the truth proved by the logic of the power of facts. Part Two: Identify the scope to which the refutation of sacred words applies. Therefore, it is necessary to explain that it should be separated. First point: Sacred words do not harm the logical field of the power of facts, and reason is needed to verify the sacred words. Therefore, first, after inspection, it is confirmed as a completely correct sacred word, and then for extremely hidden objects that are studied like sacred words, there will be faults that sacred words cause harm, otherwise there will be no. Therefore, first after inspection, the sacred word is recognized, and reason is used to prove that one's own sacred word will not cause harm. And first admitting the sacred word, and then using reason to test it, there will be faults that contradict one's own sacred word. Second point: If the sacred word is admitted, it must be relied on. Therefore, the oath that contradicts the sacred word will be harmed by the sacred word. Therefore, relying on the sacred word to infer the measurable object, because the sacred word is recognized as reliable from the perspective of inference, even if it is not external or different. In order to explain that the field of sacred words is extremely hidden, therefore, the refutation of sacred words is different from inference. If it is not distinguished by field, it is unreasonable. Because all inferences must be distinguished, such as "excluded because the result itself is not observed", which is too much. Or, if "exclusion by inference" is regarded as one, then it is meaningless to separate belief inference separately. Part Two, refuting the controversy over the refutation of sacred words: It is meaningful to state one's own words separately. Even if the sacred word is admitted, not all will be harmed. First point: From the perspective of reason, words like "My mother is a widow" are excluded by one's own words. And as an example of exclusion by belief or sacred word, just like the Vaisheshika school argues that sound is permanent, they are different examples.
