If there is a doubt like that, then saying "what is to be established itself is shown to others," these two words, namely the entity and the suffix, will have the fruit of decisiveness. Secondly, the sound of decisiveness is meaningless, and such a fault is not a fault of the subject. First, saying "the very nature of what is to be established" is to eliminate the chief and other self-characteristics that are not established as what is to be established, so there are also distinctions for that. If someone says that there are separate distinctions, then the teacher has already said that all inferences are the object of the general, so when explaining the characteristics of the subject, even if it is not shown that "what has no self-characteristic is not to be established," there is not even a slight contradiction of non-pervasion and over-pervasion for the subject alone, because such a proposition exists and there is also establishment and exclusion in the mind. Second, if someone asks, if an unestablished dharma such as the chief is made the object to be established, what fault will result from that? The answer is that whatever self-characteristic is not established by valid cognition cannot be established. If someone asks, why can't it be established? The answer is that when it is taken as the subject, no matter what sign is established, there is no concomitance in the example. If someone asks, isn't the absence of concomitance, etc., a fault of those proofs? Relying on the later limb, that is, the example and sign of the proof itself, is not considered a fault of the subject, because the fault of the subject is established in reliance on the subject itself. If someone thinks that a flawed proof cannot establish the subject, so it is a fault of the subject, then the fault of the proof will also become a fault of the subject, because all flawed proofs cannot establish the proposition, so its fault will harm the subject. Therefore, in the view of logicians, if it is established that "sound is impermanent because it is measurable," then the impermanence of sound will not be a correct proposition, because the fault of the uncertain reason can be considered a flawed subject. Therefore, the subject does not depend on the fault of the later limb, but any fault related to the very nature of the proposition itself is considered a fault of the subject, not other proofs.

The fault of the thesis is not the fault of the subject. For example, just by vowing to be established, it becomes a fault without relying on the proof. For example, the vow that "sound is not audible" contradicts the direct perception, and so on. For example, saying "my mother is a widow" contradicts one's own words. Like this, just by vowing, it becomes a fault. Regarding this, the previous party generally understands that self-character is not the object to be established, and it seems that it is also said that it is unreasonable to mention one's own voice, but it is not very satisfactory. Third, the necessity of defining and classifying the subject is to eliminate the entity and the dispute over it. First, it is shown as five types by means of distinction, and one type is shown by means of complete determination. First, the reason is the reason, that is, the word "hetu" in Hetuvidya is generally the cause, and depending on the situation, it is also translated as the reason, because it is the cause of making the established understood. Like this, the reason and so on also include examples. Like this, for the definition of the limbs of the proof, etc., there is no need to rely on elimination, that is, eliminating faults, but to eliminate the faults of the subject's own definition, that is, non-pervasion and over-pervasion. Therefore, the five aspects of the subject are said. For example, oneself and phrases, the sound of the entity, and the uneliminated and included are the four that eliminate over-pervasion, eliminating others that are not the subject, the intention of the author of the treatise, and the unestablished proof, etc., eliminating what is the subject. The word "intention" eliminates the situation where, although it is the subject, the definition of the subject does not pervade. In order to show the established that is not actually spoken, the sign arranged at that time eliminates the idea of "is it not the established?", thus showing that it is the subject. Second, in the door of reason, by means of the definition of eliminating different kinds, promising to be established shows that the definition of the subject has no fault, that is, the opponent promises to be the object to be inferred, or those signs at that time are considered to be established, and that is the definition of the established. If this definition is the only one, and the definition of the subject is flawless, then how can the five be complete? There is no error in the meaning of the established, but it is well understood.
