Relying on it to accomplish the path of liberation with real power. Furthermore, if there are objects of kalpas and so on that can appear, then there is no harm in the yogi's power seeing them. Even if there are means of accomplishment for such samadhi and so on, it is impossible to establish with real power the reason for not seeing this manifest vision of the mind at ease (བློ་བདེ་སེམས,luo de sems) now and the reason for seeing it later. Just as it is impossible to generate the manifest yoga of seeing the son of a barren woman, there is harm because there is no means of accomplishment for this. If this verse is arranged to be easily understood: Formerly, one became an ordinary person, by what means of accomplishment, the accomplishment of the senses and realization arising, those are capable of knowing its meaning. This is its meaning. In short, if one relies on this method of generating yoga manifestation, if there is a valid cognition that one will definitely see the mind at ease (བློ་བདེ་སེམས,luo de sems), then even if the mind at ease (བློ་བདེ་སེམས,luo de sems) is hidden now, it can be established by that reasoning. No matter how yoga manifestation is accomplished, since the mind at ease (བློ་བདེ་སེམས,luo de sems) does not exist in the nature of things, it is established that it is impossible to see, therefore it is said that there is no means of accomplishment. If it is said that in order to establish the relationship between the mind at ease (བློ་བདེ་སེམས,luo de sems) and yoga manifestation, it cannot be shown even by the general, then, for such a thing to be established, since the relationship with any means of accomplishment that can be established now or can be seen later is completely severed, not to mention seeing its own character, even by the general, that is, by the aspect of the general, as the thing to be established, establishing the means of accomplishment is not the object, because for those things, there is not even a little measurement of the way of establishing the thing to be established and the means of accomplishment, so it is meaningless to establish its means of accomplishment in front of the Buddha. Because it is impossible to establish by any means of accomplishment, it will only become a proposition. Second, there are two: summary and detailed explanation. First, if the scripture promised by others is considered a valid scripture at the time when they consider it valid, then that scripture can become a means of accomplishment for them, so in front of the Buddhists, can the scripture that believes in arising and ceasing establish the mind at ease (བློ་བདེ་སེམས,luo de sems), and will it be established by the power of the debater's intention? If it is established merely by the power of a person's thought, things will be like that.

It is not so. If it were, then just as consciousness determines, if things are established as real or unreal, then merely by the way they are established, they would be established there. Therefore, there would be no difference between a valid reason and what merely appears to be a reason. All reasons that ordinary people's consciousnesses deem to be reasons would be valid, and all that are considered valid but cannot be established would become fallacious reasons, because the consciousness of an ordinary person or the establishing reason established by it does not rely on the actual meaning of things, but only on the consciousness of the ordinary person. Second, existence in reality is established in the collection of consciousnesses; otherwise, it is not established in the face of both. First, a reason does not merely follow the attachment of an ordinary person, but must possess the three characteristics and depend on the fact that the thing itself exists and is known as if it exists. For if the thing itself does not exist, but it is thought to exist, it cannot establish that thing. Even if the thing itself exists, if it is not truly known and used as a reason, then from a reason that has no connection with the object to be proven, one presumes to know the object to be proven. Although one thinks that is knowledge, in reality there is no knowledge at all, because if one examines, from that reason there is no reason to necessarily know that. It is merely a conjecture that arises from relying on a reversed reason. For example, because it is measurable, sound is impermanent or composed of particles, or taking steam as smoke and thinking that one can know fire from it. Even if there is a self-deceiving thought, knowing that from the reason of arising and ceasing is merely self-righteousness. Therefore, even if the reason is correct, but one does not understand how it is established, the correct reason is the same as a fallacious reason, so it should not be called knowing from the reason, but should be called self-righteousness based on the reason. Second, if there is an establishing reason for a correct reason, such as self-deception, then all correct reasons will not go beyond their own nature or result, that is, the two establishing reasons, or will not go beyond what appears to be possible but has not been seen, that is, the non-perception of the negation. The establishment of self-deception is included in these, and it is an establishing sign. If there is no inseparable connection between the reason and the dharma, then it is a consciousness-fabricated one.
