I am discussing the term "having an object." If the external object is not clear, then saying "the mind is clear" is also because the mind itself is clear. If the mind itself is not clear, then such a term cannot be used. Just like a lamp and a vase, etc., because there is a difference between clear and unclear, they become the nature of the illuminator and the illuminated, thus allowing such terms to be widely used. For two things whose own nature is not clear, it is impossible to use such a term. Third, without consciousness, merely the collection of object and sense faculties cannot be certain to see the object. Therefore, from experiencing the causal object, the certainty of "I saw the form" etc. arises. For an object that has not been experienced, it is impossible to have certainty of existence or non-existence, right or wrong. If that is the case, not only is the thing itself experienced, but other consciousness is undoubtedly experienced or seen by oneself. Because the certainty that arises from experiencing blue objects etc. also arises in one's own mindstream. If you deny what clearly exists, then say that there is no other's consciousness. If you think that no one can deny these terms of seeing, hearing, and experiencing, then self-awareness is the same, and you should know that it is established in terms. Second, proving self-awareness from the sign of memory. Briefly explain, and explain the reasons in detail. First, self-awareness can also be established from the memory of the mind that has an object, because it is impossible to remember what has not been experienced, just like experiencing an object. Second, remembering long letters etc., and establishing the order of knowledge from memory. First, one mind is not suitable to hold it. It is also unsuitable for multiple minds to hold it. First, present the fault and refute its answer. First, present the thesis and establish its property of the subject. First, if the opponent says that memory only establishes what was previously experienced, then it becomes establishing what has already been established. If you establish that you experience yourself, then it is uncertain. If you say that the previous consciousness did not experience itself, but the later consciousness is someone else knowing it, then that is unreasonable. Because long letters and very long letters etc., the mind will not hold, because the sound is only momentary and will not last long. Thus, because the object does not last long, the auditory consciousness of the object

It is also impossible to experience longer than that. If one has not experienced a long time, how can one recall it later? Therefore, when the moments of the object of hearing arise continuously, when recalling the object of hearing, because there is the wisdom of experiencing without being destroyed, the memory of "I heard a long sound" arises from the experience. At the time of recollection, the hearing itself does not exist. If in the past there was only hearing and no self-awareness, then what is the cause of this recollection? This is unreasonable. Second, if it is thought that the sign of not lasting for a long time is not established, then, the parts of the sound are not born and cease one after another, but exist without ceasing for the duration of a long "A", and the hearing also exists in the same way, then, for the object of perception, there is no order of moments arising one after another, therefore, in the wisdom of hearing, all parts of the sound appear simultaneously without before and after, because the letters have no order, they will not become long. The length of time cannot arise without relying on the order of arising one after another. If you ask, what contradiction is there in a single moment of wisdom appearing with multiple parts of letters before and after? If the parts before and after gather together without mixing, then how can the part of the letter with order produce a single object of perception's wisdom without order? The object of perception is the cause, and wisdom is the result, and the parts of the object of perception's sound before and after cannot gather together, therefore, how can wisdom appear simultaneously? It is impossible to appear. Even if it appears, it will not become long, it will be like seeing blue, yellow, white, and red at the same time. Second, negating the previous existing at the end of the later. Negating the permanent object of perception and the wisdom of the object of perception. First, if when hearing a long "A", the hearing will not be established because it has not heard a long sound, because the previous parts of the letter exist until the end of the completion of their own parts. If this is the case, under the first part, on top of the first part not ceasing, adding the second part, the volume of the sound will increase, just like measuring grain with a bushel and piling it in a container. Those parts, without the previous parts ceasing, grasp other parts, because they are grasped in a non-sequential way, so only the loudness of the volume will be heard, and there will be no meaning of a long sound. Even in the last part of the complete completion, it is like appearing simultaneously, rather than gradually arising.
