Because it is impossible to determine with valid cognition in another place. Even if it is not determined in another place, but because there is no confusion simultaneously, if determining as different does not establish difference, then the pillar and the pot would also become one. In general, for the system that does not have self-awareness, it may be allowed to experience blue. However, how can one experience the existence of knowledge simultaneously with that, and it would become unexperienced. Therefore, how can one experience difference simultaneously like a pillar and a pot? If it is thought that during the experience of blue, the knowledge residing inside and the blue outside appearing as two parts are established through experience, then self-awareness would also be established, and both modes would also be established. Because a simultaneous object cannot be the cause of that mind, such appearance can only be the aspect of the mind. Moreover, since the mind is not confused, it is true that those appearances that are determined to be different are established as other and other by the very appearance of that appearance, just as blue and yellow, and pleasure and pain cannot be one in the appearance of the mind. However, since one mind can appear in various ways at one time, mind and object are not different, because it is impossible to distinguish and determine in another place. Even if it is not determined in another place, but at the same time, the mind is clear and aware residing inside, while the object is outside, unclear and unaware, and is of the nature of an aggregate of particles, therefore it is determined as very different. If determined in that way, then what other way of determining is there besides that? If it is said that clearly experiencing the external object is experienced differently from knowledge, then who knows that this is unclear and unaware, and is matter? If it is known by knowledge, then we admit that such an image appears in knowledge, but it cannot be established as different from knowledge, because such an appearance is also established only as appearing in that way in knowledge. If it is thought that merely from the appearance of object and subject as different, it is established as another entity, because it appears that way, then just as a deluded consciousness sees a non-existent moon as different, similarly, although it appears as two due to the delusion of dualistic appearance, in reality it is not established as that different. If that is the case, it will become one whole, and if it is said that all separate appearances are due to delusion, would it be said to be the same? It is not the same, because by being deluded, one

That which appears as two but is not established as different in reality is necessarily always perceived together, like two moons. If two moons could also be perceived separately, then two moons would also exist in reality. Therefore, what is not a mistake of seeing one as two sometimes appears together, but it is not necessarily so at all times and places. For example, for different things like blue and yellow, sometimes they appear together, but there is no certainty that they are always experienced together at all times and places. These two examples prove pervasiveness with positive and negative examples. Such a nature of different substances is never possible here. Because without the mind of grasping, one experiences some things, or without the object to be experienced, one experiences grasping, it has never been seen that one would experience the feeling of "this," therefore, these object-knowledges are not different substances. Whatever is experienced is merely arising as the appearance of that mind. This is establishing the property of the subject. Therefore, the object that appears in the sense consciousness itself is established as not being a substance other than consciousness itself, which is very difficult to refute with reason, because no other valid cognition can be found to establish it otherwise. Therefore, since the apprehended and the apprehender are not different substances, it is established as one substance, and even in terms of convention, if one or different is not established, then blue and so on will become non-existent. If that is the case, the appearance of shapes and colors and so on will also disappear, and it should be understood that this is different from the case of negating one and different when examining with ultimate truth. Second, in terms of answering arguments: Refuting the establishment of the existence of external objects, eliminating the harm to the non-existence of external objects. First, there must be an external object that is different from the mind, because other causes for the arising of sense consciousness, such as the sense organs and attention, even if they exist, the sense consciousnesses do not arise merely from these, therefore, other causes different from the sense and attention are needed, that is, the external object must be complete as the objective condition, which can be inferred by inference. If it is not said that the same kind of sense consciousness itself, from the uninterrupted individual causes, the individual sense consciousnesses that clearly awaken the appearance of individual things, arise at a definite time and place, then even if that is the case, by the power of the previous consciousness that awakens the habits of the appearance of individual things,
