Etc., just like the sky, will only become devoid of essence. Furthermore, just as the word "six" indicates that pervasiveness, etc., are different from the sky, if it exists elsewhere, it will not pervade the sky. If it is not separate, pervasiveness will not be separate from the sky either, so using the word "six" in this way will also become meaningless. Second, regarding the argument that it is unreasonable to apply the thought of "one" to multiple things: What is shown is that the general aspect to which the sound of "one" applies is to be eliminated. Having dispelled the doubts about this, its reasonableness is established. There are three concluding points that eliminate these two arguments. First, if it is said that distinct objects exist without mixing with each other and do not follow each other, and since there is no generality other than that, it is unreasonable to apply the thought of the single sound "tree" to multiple trees, so there will be no common term. If analyzed, even if there is no generality, it is named and established by conceptualization. Relying on the distinct appearances of trees that are different from each other, to the extent that the mind that perceives trees as a whole, the conceptualization, its own essence obscures the essence of other tree appearances that are unmixed. That is, clinging to the self-character of the tree in the obscuring concept obscures the nature or essence of the obscured tree appearances, even though they are different. By obscuring the difference itself, it makes it seem as if they are mixed together. If it is said that the objects of tree appearances are different from non-trees, through some similar By eliminating the essence, it appears as one inseparable whole. Even if there is no generality externally, but since such an appearance arises in one's own concept, due to the influence of inner thought, it is strongly proclaimed that there is something called "common༷" in external objects. How does the concept of holding the common point universally name the common point in this way? This does not exist in the ultimate sense. In this way, since the distinct appearances do not follow each other, it is not one with the common point. Since the common point that the distinct appearances have does not appear in the non-deluded mind, it is merely a fabrication. If it is thought that what appears as a tree in the concept of holding a tree is the common point, and since it is the essence of knowledge, it certainly exists. Then, how can the image that is inseparable from the knowledge holding the common point be a thing

Furthermore, since external objects conform to inner consciousness and are of the same substance as inner consciousness, therefore, this general conceptual thought that grasps manifest things as a single self or essence is mistaken or erroneous in mistaking its appearing object as truly having its own characteristics. If the general characteristic does not exist in external objects, then the verbal consciousness that grasps the general characteristic will become causeless. If you think so, then the name "tree" and the meaning of being different from non-tree, and the differences between the various manifestations of the tree that are mutually incompatible, these are the seeds of the general conceptual thought. Second, dispel doubts about this and establish its rationality: It is reasonable for differences to become the cause of a single consciousness, and it is reasonable for meaningless things to resemble meaningful things. First, if it is said that different appearances do not generate a single aspect of general conceptual consciousness, then, the general conceptual consciousness that understands the appearances as the same category, and the direct perception of knowing things like blue, etc., and using "etc." to indicate that things like fire and houses accomplish a single meaning, such as the appearance of a tree, etc., some causes, although their own entities are different, but due to the nature or self-nature of things, they will definitely produce in this way. For example, the root consciousness and the objects and attention indicated by "etc.", although their own entities are different, and there is no other general characteristic that can produce a common result, but they are like producing a single root consciousness. For example, some medicines, such as turmeric and parpata, etc., although their own entities are different, but when they are mixed together, or different kinds of parpata in different places and times, also through the common power, produce a single effect of pacifying plagues and other diseases, just like other medicines such as yogurt and camphor cannot pacify the plague. If it is said that those causes that produce a single result are because they have a common general characteristic that produces that single result, then it is not so, because the general characteristic is permanent, one, pervasive, and indivisible, so the general characteristics of medicines, etc., have no difference, therefore the general characteristic cannot pacify diseases, and even if the fields, times, and cultivation, etc., in which those medicines grow are different, there will be no difference in the speed of pacifying diseases, because the permanent or unchanging self cannot benefit the result, so it is not produced by the general characteristic. Second
