If it does not appear without interruption, it is because there is a gap between each other. If, although there is a gap, it seems as if there is no gap because of the rapid entry, then, because the speed is the same for both, if things appear to be uninterrupted, then why would there not be an experience like another kind of happiness because of this? Because those things that appear without interruption do not give another thing even a moment or a tiny opportunity to appear. If this is the case, if the appearance of both continues uninterrupted, then there is no doubt that they will appear simultaneously, just like seeing blue and yellow at the same time. Even if it is admitted that the appearance of separation cannot be produced due to the interval, it is a delusion caused by speed, but it should not be that the appearance of delusion obscures another thing, just like in a circle of rotating torches that appears without interruption, nothing other than the torch can be seen. Second, refuting the view that things and happiness are both held by one consciousness: If things and inner happiness are taken by the senses at the same time, so there is no time sequence, and both appear without interruption, then, the sensory consciousness will not know its own object and the object of others at the same time, because the mind of the senses is completely determined by its own object, if it is not, sometimes the ear will also grasp form, etc., which will lead to absurd inferences. Moreover, if the merits of the inner self are only the object of consciousness, then how do the sensory consciousnesses such as the eye, which focus on external objects, take it? This is impossible. In addition, even if the object taken by the sensory consciousness is only things, and there is no other happiness, etc., but because the experience of happiness, etc. arises from these things, it has not been established that happiness, etc. has the ability to generate sensory consciousness, because happiness is a law of the inner mind, and it is never possible to take external things, so it is impossible to generate sensory consciousness by taking it as the object to be taken. Second, observe things. Refuting separate holding. Refuting simultaneous holding. First, are these things and happiness taken separately or simultaneously? If it is the first case, can both things and happiness be independent of each other, that is, can they generate their own holding consciousness separately?

If one thinks that just as blue, yellow, etc., each can generate sense consciousness, without an external object as the object, it is also possible for happiness, etc., to be independently and autonomously apprehended by mind consciousness alone. However, if the external objects such as form, etc., which have become the nature of the cause that generates happiness, etc., are not apprehended by sense consciousness, then it is impossible for happiness, etc., to be experienced independently and autonomously by mind consciousness. Second, there is the reality of the inference and its establishment. First, it is impossible to experience happiness, etc., without apprehending the external object, because the external object and happiness, etc., are apprehended together. If one thinks this way, then what benefit does happiness, etc., have for sense consciousness? Because the wisdom of the senses produced by happiness is not what you want, because the senses are the objects of the external world, and happiness is the merit of the inner self, so they cannot exist together. Even if it is allowed to exist, the senses will not apprehend it, just as when form and taste are together, the eyes will not apprehend the taste. Second, the feeling without an external object is unreasonable, therefore, one will not feel the happiness of the external object. First, if one thinks that sense consciousness can also feel happiness, then according to your view, external objects such as form, etc., do not have happiness, etc., so it is not the object of sense consciousness, and if happiness, etc., are felt by the consciousness of the eye, etc., then sense consciousness will be like the illusion of two moons and hair, and will only become a confused wisdom. The differences between form, sound, etc., and the beauty and ugliness of women, etc., will never be apprehended by the consciousness of the eyes, etc., because the external object will not be seen as it is, but will be apprehended in various ways. In the explanations, it is also said that if there is no external object such as form, etc., and happiness, etc., are independently and autonomously apprehended, then sense consciousness cannot judge whether form, etc., are the basis of happiness. If the object of the eye, etc. does not have happiness, etc., it is not because the merit of the inner self, happiness, etc., becomes the cause or part, and the nature that can generate wisdom is the object of this sense consciousness, because the self (Tibetan: བདག,Sanskrit Devanagari: आत्म,Sanskrit Romanization: ātma, Literal meaning: self) is pervasive, so its merits are also focused on this. If so, then sense consciousness becomes the object of the merit of the inner self, so it always apprehends the close meaning.
