Establishing the emptiness for those without faith. This is to eliminate disputes. First, establish the emptiness of both the grasped and the grasper. Therefore, various appearances are illusions. First, depending on external objects, there is no grasped or grasper. Depending on inner consciousness, there is no grasped or grasper. First, if we examine what the object of appearance is, because it is not established, the meaning of the grasped and the consciousness of the grasper are not a single, solid, coarse appearance composed of many parts, because the nature of the coarse is denied to exist in one part. Nor does it exist in the many composed of many parts, for how can what is not in one be in the many? Because there is nothing called the many that are separate from each other. Therefore, the coarse appearance is not established as either one or different from its parts, so it is merely a designation, and nothing is truly established. Whatever appears, because it has not become a single part without divisions, all appearances are unbearable to examine. Second, the thing and its reason for establishment. First, if examining the coarse appearance of external objects is unreasonable, even if we allow it to not exist, the appearance of consciousness as blue, etc., is established by undeniable experience, so will it be established? If you think so, the consciousness experiencing objects such as blue, etc., and completely determining them, is merely the appearance of inner consciousness itself. Moreover, in the face of that consciousness, the appearance that is grasped, like existing outside the grasped, is merely designated as the aspect of the grasped of another part. In reality, there is no difference between the grasped and the grasper, becoming the nature of clear and aware consciousness, appearing as different aspects in one nature is merely deluded by the habitual patterns of the illusion of dualistic appearance, like the appearance of two moons. If you say that there is no grasped, but there is a grasper, then if either the grasped or the grasper does not exist or is not established, both will disappear, because they are interdependent, so it is impossible for each to exist independently. Second, because the grasped and the grasper are not established as two, the self-aware and self-illuminating nature that is empty of both the grasped and the grasper, which is also the completely conceptualized with dualistic appearance, is also that very suchness, because that is its ultimate state. Second, the illusion of appearing as different is: external and internal things existing as object and subject, all of this is the grasped and the grasper.

It is established only by relying on what appears to be faith. Apart from being established by the power of the mind, nothing like one and different can be established. Like this, the establishment of the grasper and the grasped as different is like the appearance of two moons, which is obscured by ignorance even though it is not established in reality. In reality, the objects and subjects that exist as different from each other are established by the power of inner obscuration, but they are not established in reality. Therefore, those that appear as different also become obscured, but in reality, they are not different. Just as the appearance of two moons is an obscuration, the appearance of two moons outside as different is also an obscuration, and it is impossible for them to exist without obscuration. Second, in answering the debate. A quote that says that the nature of knowledge is empty. If it is empty, then refute the contradiction of the appearance of reason. First, the answer to not accepting external objects. Explanation of the meaning of the accepted quote. First. If there is only self-awareness of the two emptinesses, then it contradicts what the Buddha said in the sutras that all phenomena of the aggregates, elements, and sources are empty of self-characteristics. It is not contradictory, because of these two aspects of grasping and grasping. In this way, in terms of grasping, the characteristics of form that can become form and sounds that can be heard, etc., and in terms of grasping, the consciousness that distinguishes each, the feeling of experiencing, the perception of grasping characteristics, etc., are established. If there is no grasping and grasping, then the characteristics of who sees and by whom sees are impossible, so there is nothing else called the characteristic of Dharma. The distinction between the characteristics of any Dharma is that the grasping is named by the grasper, so the characteristics of the three knowledges of self-awareness are completely extinguished and empty, so all Dharmas are said to be without self-nature. Whatever appears, all the elaborations named as such are completely pacified, and only the reality is distinguished. Even so, if that reality, the wisdom of self-awareness, does not exist, then it is impossible to have an object that sees the reality, so no one should realize the reality. Therefore, such self-awareness of the two emptinesses is the reality, and not just something like a rabbit's horn that does not exist is the reality.
