The explanation of having limbs is that without the collection of other atoms, the special atom that produces sensory ability does not exist, and if such a collection of atoms becomes capable of producing sensory ability, when it is suitable to exist as an object, consciousness only arises in one part of the object like an atom, and it is not certain that it will not arise in other parts, because consciousness arises equally in all collections, so it is said to be the object of the atom collection or the common generality, but it is not said that the collection or the separate generality is the object of the senses. Therefore, ordinary senses have never separately grasped the extremely subtle atoms, and when they are collected, the material of the birthplace is the object of the senses, but even so, it is not grasping the extremely subtle, but grasping all the parts that have the ability to grasp, because there is no coarse except for the various parts, and ultimately neither the extremely subtle nor the coarse should reasonably become the object of the senses, so it only becomes established as appearance, and the external object is not established, which will be explained below. Second, establish according to the meaning of the scriptures. Establish wrong ideas and dispel them. First, if the object of sensory consciousness is one birthplace, then it is a whole that appears as a whole or an indivisible part of a thing with limbs, but it does not grasp multiple parts at the same time, if you think so. Second, answer: Sesame seeds, etc., are not grasped at the same time, it should follow! Mottled is not grasped at the same time, it should follow! Lumps, etc., are not grasped at the same time, it should follow! Various kinds are not known differently, it should follow! First, the reality and the elimination of its faults are refuted. First, if it is impossible to grasp multiple things at the same time, then sesame seeds, mustard seeds, rice, etc., different grains are put in the same container without sticking to each other, how can they appear to be grasped at the same time? Such an appearance is established by direct perception and cannot be denied, and different kinds of substances exist scattered, and they will not be considered to have one limb. Second, if you think that this is grasping separately, but because the mind enters quickly, the illusion of simultaneous appearance is produced. Before, letters should also become clear at the same time, etc., it has already been explained that this is unreasonable. In addition, sesame seeds, etc., are raised from the sky, how can the appearance of grasping successively rather than simultaneously not arise in those that fall in order? Because rapid grasping also exists in it. In addition, the object

If all apprehending consciousnesses are the same in that they enter in an instant and have the nature of being extremely fast in time, then how is it that in the objects of consciousness, some appear as non-sequential and simultaneous, while others appear as sequential? Because the speed that you consider to be the cause of non-sequential appearance is present in all of them. Therefore, for consciousnesses that enter quickly in apprehending all things, this characteristic of quick entry would necessarily lead to everything appearing as non-sequential and simultaneous. Second, proving that things themselves are multiple from patterns. This is to dispel disputes about it. First, if it is one, then patterns should not appear. Appearing patterns proves multiplicity. First, if multiple things do not appear at the same time, then how do the patterns of butterflies, the feathers of peacocks, and patterned fabrics, etc., which are many different forms, appear? The appearance of patterns would be interrupted. Second, proving by the fact that things are multiple. Proving by the fact that consciousness appears in various ways. First, stating the harm of variety to unity. In response to this, refuting the distinction between artificial and non-artificial. First, if it is said that what is seen, such as patterned butterflies, etc., is not the simultaneous appearance of multiple things, but because the various colors are one substance of the patterned whole, it is only the appearance of one substance of the patterned whole, then the beautiful feathers of peacocks, or the idea that multiple things are not apprehended, this statement that contradicts direct perception, even more surprising than this is the statement that variety is one, because they are able to tolerate the basis of contradiction between multiple and one. Therefore, whatever appears as various is not the nature of one. For example, the situation where various shapes of jewels such as rubies, crystals, lapis lazuli, pearls, etc., are piled up in a heap. Second, if it is said that the heap of jewels is not one because they are of different kinds, so it is possible to distinguish the individual substances of the whole with parts. However, like the colors of unworked patterned butterflies and the feathers of peacocks, etc., because they are one substance of the whole with parts, they cannot be distinguished, so they are one. Then, like blue, yellow, etc., distinguishing them separately as "this and this" is the same for unworked patterned butterflies and artificial patterned fabrics, etc. If they exist without being mixed, the statement that they cannot be distinguished is meaningless. If it is said that in the patterns of butterflies, etc., the shapes of the parts are blue, yellow, etc.
