Because there is no clinging to the conformity and aggregation, you also admit that conformity and aggregation are not the objects of manifestation, but the objects of inference. If it is grasped by the senses, then the many attributes of things such as names and impermanence will also be known just by seeing them, so it is also harmed by reason. The type and the thing possessing the type do not appear to be different, and the senses have not grasped the conformity and aggregation, so the relationship between the type and the thing possessing the type only exists where the senses cannot manifest and see. Third, it is divided into two: eliminating reality and doubt. First: For example, "This cotton cloth has wool" and "The cow has horns" are widely circulated in the world. Because, as the circulation says, there is a relationship of conformity and aggregation in meaning, otherwise, like "There is wool on the stone," the circulation will not match the meaning, so the conformity and aggregation are established. If someone thinks this way. Then, like "This cotton cloth has wool," etc., these words of association are also caused by the other reasons, by the expresser's own distinctions, not because the two are different, and because of the conformity and aggregation. In addition, even if the world says "The cow has horns," the world does not circulate "The horns have cows." If the word is used because of the relationship of mutual conformity and aggregation between the horns and the cow, then the horns will also have cows, because there is no difference between the two in the association. If the two are not actually related, then why say "horned cow"? The word "cow" expresses the living thing with attributes from the horns to the hooves. In the case of "horned cow," the word "cow" only refers to the other parts besides the horns, which is the remaining part that is intended to be expressed. All the remaining parts have no target separated from the horns, because it seems that the horns are also attached to the whole with all the parts such as eyes. Like this, it is expressed because it is intended to be expressed, not different from the cow, and the two are not inseparably related through conformity and aggregation. For example, in the case of "The cow has eyes," in addition to the eyes, the word cow can also be associated with the many parts of the cow, such as walking in the field, etc., but the principle is the same.

Because of similarity, how does the cow, which is different from its many parts like limbs, actually exist? These are merely named as such through conceptualization. Secondly, it is unreasonable for there to be no actual connection. If asked where the previous threads are, one would answer, "This is it," pointing to the self-nature of the woolen cloth. When the woolen cloth exists, one can point to each thread and say, "This is a thread." So, how can one actually indicate the self-nature of something that is fabricated by conceptualization? If one says, "The woolen cloth of those previous threads is this," it is merely because the previous threads were gathered by weaving, and targeting the later arising result—the woolen cloth—the previous threads and the woolen cloth are fabricated as one, and that is why it is said that way. In reality, the previous threads and the current woolen cloth cannot exist simultaneously. Because when the self-nature of the threads has not changed, the woolen cloth does not exist; and when the woolen cloth exists, it appears different from the self-nature of the previous threads. In that case, how can one say that the threads contain the woolen cloth? Some namers think that because the threads as the cause can produce the result when gathered, they fabricate the cause as the result, but cause and effect cannot exist simultaneously. If they did exist simultaneously, the threads could also serve the function of covering, so weaving would be meaningless. Or this is a later added concluding word. Someone says: That is unreasonable. According to your view, when the result exists, the cause necessarily ceases, but when the woolen cloth exists, one can still point to each thread, so how can threads and woolen cloth not exist simultaneously? When the threads are woven and gathered, the object that appears as a whole and can serve the function of covering is the woolen cloth, and if the threads are separated one by one, there is no such thing as woolen cloth. Even so, woolen cloth is merely a general term for the collection of threads, and when the referent of the word "thread" is specifically indicated, one part of the collection—a single thread—is separated. It is only based on such a reason that the word "threads" is applied to the result—the woolen cloth. This is also like the cow mentioned above, it is merely said that way because one wants to express it, but in reality, threads and woolen cloth do not exist simultaneously. Then, each limb—each thread—is manifestly established.
