Or there is no certainty about existence, or because the causal body is always close, all forms of attachment, hatred, etc., are no different for all individuals, and arise continuously at all times. Second, the characteristics or aspects of the truth of suffering: impermanence, suffering, emptiness, selflessness. First, the aggregates that are the source of suffering are impermanent because they are occasionally interrupted by place and time. Second, such momentary aggregates of clinging are suffering because each moment is the basis of the faults of karma, afflictions, and suffering, just like diseases, tumors, and poisonous food. Also, because it arises from the cause of previous karma and afflictions, it is dependent on them, like a slave, so it is also suffering. As it is said, 'All dependence is suffering.' Although one does not wish to be the basis of faults, it arises from the power of the cause. Third, such numerous aggregates and moments are not self, because they are impermanent, dependent, and abide in many parts. There is not even a particle of a permanent, single, independent self, or an independent entity. If there is no self, then the eyes, etc., are not blessed or controlled by it, so they are not mine either. Fourth, there are two things: the object and its reason. First, the cause of the arising of such momentary aggregates is not self, because the self itself is not established. Even if it is not the cause of arising, it is not the self that controls or blesses it, because it is not established, so the aggregates are empty of self. Second, those who claim that there is a self say: It is unreasonable to say that there is no self that produces or controls the aggregates, because the permanent self that blesses, if it does not exist, the aggregates should not exist either, just as if there is no person, his place and location are impossible. Therefore, the permanent self arises all these aggregates and becomes their master. If you say so, how can the permanent self be the cause of the arising of the aggregates? Because the permanent has no ability to function. Because it is permanent, it is impossible for many different results to arise sequentially at different times from the one without parts of direction and time. Self.

If it does not exist, there is no self-entity aggregate and enjoyer, so the cause of the aggregate enjoying the object in this way is not inferred to be self, because it is impossible to have a reason to infer that permanence is the cause. What is the reason for that? For example, when a dharma such as eye consciousness arises, even if the root, dominant condition, and attention, etc., are assembled, the fruit eye consciousness will not arise merely from that. Therefore, it will also be inferred that an incomplete cause, such as form, is its cause. However, such incompleteness does not exist for permanent dharmas, because they are permanent. Therefore, if this does not exist, what will not arise; if this exists, what will arise, like this, the reason for the definite following and cessation is impossible to occur in any way. Second, regarding the origin of suffering: Establish that suffering has a cause. Identify its cause. First: Because it is not constant, but occasional, this suffering itself is established as having a cause. If it arises without a cause, then its arising does not depend on other causes, so it will become either permanent or non-existent, which is unreasonable. Second: Refute unreasonable other's views. Establish one's own view that is established by reason. First: Refute the view that there is no cause. Negate the view of other causes such as freedom. First: Abandon the dispute that contradicts the present. First: Just as the sharpness and roundness of thorns and beans, etc., no one makes the tip and makes it round, so even if there is no cause, it arises by its nature, and these sufferings will also arise without a cause, some Lokayatas say so. That is unreasonable, even if a dharma that existed before itself exists, then that dharma will arise later, or if a certain dharma changes, it will also stop, or a certain dharma transforms or stops, that is, through the way of following and stopping. The previous one is the cause of the later one, that is how it is said in the world. Like this, the cause established by following and stopping also exists for thorns and so on, if their respective seeds exist, they will arise, if they do not exist
