If it is in an unclear state, is it possible for the whole thing to become a manifest sentient being? Or is it possible for each part of the elements to become sentient beings? If it is the former, if the whole thing must become a sentient being, that is impossible and will not be admitted. If it is the latter, even the tip of a very small blade of grass or a single hair has many elemental particles, so there would be hundreds of elephants there, even if they are not manifest now, because there are sentient beings that can manifest now. If so, then there are things that no one has ever seen or not seen in this world before, saying that is like the shameless livestock of the Samkhya school who argue for the existence of the effect in the cause, who else would try to say unreasonable words and feel ashamed? No one would try, and should not try. Therefore, you, the outsider, who boast yourself as the crest jewel of logicians, want to deny other unseen things by what is actually seen, and do not even admit inference as a valid cognition, yet you admit that there are such unseen things, please tell me what is beautiful about this. Such unreasonable reasons are also, even if the tip of the main root and so on are divided and studied hundreds of times, if the nature of the object that appears manifestly now does not appear in the previous cause period, then how can the result like hundreds of elephants and so on exist now? It is very unreasonable to say that. Third, refuting the new birth of sentient beings from non-cyclic existence, divided into three parts: summary, detailed explanation, and conclusion. First, if the mind of sentient beings is said to be newly produced from the earth and so on, then from that cause, there is no certainty that attachment, hatred, arrogance, and ignorance exist, and sometimes it may be incomplete, because just as it is believed that the difference in the human body arises only from the elements, so the bodies of beings are various and different, and the senses are complete and incomplete. Just as there are various kinds of senses and so on, its nature, the mind, may also have various kinds of attachment, existence, and non-existence, but all sentient beings have senses and various

Although there are differences in transformation, it is harmful because detachment from attachment and detachment from hatred are not seen. Second, it is too absolute to consider only elements as the cause. The difference of elements is unreasonable. First, if it is thought that all sentient beings are not beyond the nature of the elements, if it is said that all sentient beings have attachment, hatred, etc., and it is impossible to be without them, then all living beings will become equal in size of desire, etc., because it is thought that all things arising from the elements have desire, like the heat of fire, so it is unreasonable to think that there are sizes of attachment, hatred, etc. on this. Even so, lions, etc. have less desire and more hatred, donkeys and swallows, etc. have more desire, and in addition, people have desire, great desire, extreme desire, and similarly, there are differences in hatred, love, wisdom, etc., seeing these is harmful. Second, the text and its refutation. First, if it is said that the size of desire, etc. in the realm of sentient beings is due to the difference of the cause elements, just as some fruits are sweet due to the difference of places, and those that grow from other places are not like that, then, for the elements, there is no difference between sentient beings and extremely sentient beings, etc., even if it is thought that all sentient beings are just synonymous with having life, but sentient beings have different differences such as desire, etc., the element that is the basis of this always appears as not staying in one state, but as the nature of excellence and decay that is sometimes there and sometimes not. Because some have the ability to generate great desire, and some do not. In this way, the ability of the elements to increase and decrease, similarly, the elements previously had the ability to generate desire, etc., and later may not have, because things that have increase and decrease will greatly decay and eventually be cut off. In this way, the sentient beings produced from things that do not have it will become things that do not have desire, etc., because there is no cause. For example, just as things that grow from neem seeds have no sweetness. Second, refuting the meaning and the way of metaphor. First, if it is said that although there are differences in the size of desire, etc., the cause of these sentient beings is the elements, which is the same.
