both the capacity and the basis of that capacity are equally reversed, and merely by not having the capacity, it also becomes not its basis, so there is no need to establish it as a basis, just as the sky is established as a container for water. Second, showing harm to other tenets. That itself is not similar to itself. First, if you say that the simultaneous support and supported are inseparable, similarly, we also think that body and mind are inseparable, therefore, when the body is destroyed, the mind is also destroyed. Body and mind are not inseparable, because non-deluded intelligence can understand that phenomena appear as different things, therefore it is established that the elements and mind are different. The reason is established, one's own intelligence also knows that one's own mind is not an accumulation of dust, but is the nature of experiencing attachment and so on, and the body knows that it is the opposite of this characteristic. Moreover, one's own intelligence experiences happiness, suffering, etc., which only oneself knows and cannot be shown to others, but one's own body not only oneself, but can also be shown to others, one can see it. Similarly, one can see the body of others, or others can see one's own body, but it is impossible for minds to see each other, therefore there is a mind that is different from the body. If they are not different, merely seeing the body will know the mind, and one will not think what kind of thoughts are in this person's mind. Or, just as the mind is not seen, the body also becomes invisible and unknowable. It will not occur to think whether this person has a mind or not from the presence or absence of movement, etc. Similarly, it is impossible to say that what one thinks in one's mind will not be known unless it is shown to others, because merely showing the body can accomplish things, etc., there are endless faults. If one thinks that body and mind are one, as long as the body does not become different from before, the state of the body's form, etc., does not appear differently, then the nature of the mind will also remain unchanged, because the two are inseparable. Even so, although the body is not different, the discriminations follow various external objects and produce many differences, which is completely subject to the environment.

From what cause is it that it is impossible? Or, is it that the various thoughts that arise are because they are close to things? If so, from what does the mind with thoughts, which is dependent on the self-characteristic of things, arise? It is explained that it arises merely by focusing on the generalities of things, without relying on the body and things. Secondly, if, according to your view, there is consciousness that is different from the body, then how can only one of the same kind of consciousness arise from itself, and how can there be various different situations? When it does not rely on the body, that is, when the body is not the immediate cause, some previous consciousness becomes the cause of awakening the habitual tendencies of some later consciousness, such as the appearance of things. Therefore, some different consciousness can arise from some different consciousness. The reason why it becomes various situations is that the nature of consciousness itself is capable of holding various objects. Moreover, it arises according to how close the conditions are. Therefore, from the same kind of previous consciousness, different later consciousness can also arise. Alternatively, it can also be applied to the mere thought of mind that does not rely on the body. Secondly, for the proof of the existence of samsara. Refuting the objections to things and to that. First, that which is not consciousness is not the immediate cause of consciousness, therefore samsara is also established. Consciousness does not arise without a cause, and it is impossible not to be momentary, therefore the moment does not arise without relying on the previous one. Since it has been proven that its immediate cause cannot arise from anything other than consciousness itself, such as earth, etc., therefore it is established that its continuum has no beginning. Secondly, Although it is impossible to prevent the demonstration by reasoning that non-consciousness is not the immediate cause of consciousness, if it is assumed that all these things have the ability to generate consciousness, therefore they are the immediate cause of consciousness, therefore it is not established that there is no immediate cause. Then, what does it mean to have the ability to generate consciousness? If there is not even a little consciousness, then it has already been denied that there is no ability. If it is said that there is consciousness, but it is not manifest, but is an obscure aggregate of formations, then, according to your view, the so-called aggregate of formations is merely the mind that relies on the body, which is as obvious as a lamp and light. If so, then all these things
