One should act accordingly. If one thinks it is merely non-existence, then there is no basis for true establishment, and even in non-existence, all phenomena possess the power and nature of being fully clear and knowable. If one thinks that clarity is other than mind, or that it newly arises from non-existence, or that even while knowing and being clear, it does not become a non-empty existence, then emptiness alone cannot be decisive. The Great Orgyen said, "Like the heart of the sun that illuminates itself, look to your own mind whether it is similar or not." Thus, if one does not grasp it with such a method and merely clings to emptiness, then with the power of analysis, one will not surpass merely negating emptiness, and therefore it will not become the view of mantra. Here, compassion arises for beings who have not realized the appearance of illusion, and the body of perfect wisdom abides constantly and pervasively like the sky, effortlessly fulfilling the hopes of beings, like a wish-fulfilling jewel. Uninterrupted compassion is great bliss or ultimate great compassion, therefore, one should grasp appearance with skillful means. In the Ada Ye (uncertain, possibly the name of a scripture), it says, "Since all phenomena are gathered into the mind of enlightenment, one should diligently cultivate the perception of great compassion." Cultivating in the path stage, accomplishing in the fruition stage, corresponding to the two bodies. Therefore, it does not belong to either existence or non-existence, nor is it a dualistic nature like the alternating appearance of existence and non-existence. Emptiness is wisdom, the inexpressible realm of reality; appearance is skillful means, the wisdom of awareness, the two are united and inseparable from the beginning, being of one taste. Therefore, the realm of emptiness and awareness, great bliss, are inseparable skillful means and wisdom, naturally co-emerging. In the Ada Ka Yeshe (uncertain, possibly the name of a scripture), it says, "Since all phenomena are naturally unattainable and luminous, one should diligently cultivate the perception of not abiding in anything." Just like that. If one thinks, is such a common ground of the unity of the realm of reality and awareness truly established? It is not like that. Although it is non-dual, it is not considered that a single one is established by essence, therefore, if one does not cut off the superimposition of one and different, one is not a qualified Dzogchen practitioner, and one will not surpass the view that considers essence to be established. Therefore, with the meaning that skillful means and wisdom are of one taste, the extremes of clinging to either existence or non-existence and the extremes of one and different are cut off, so

It is the great perfection of wisdom. Such awareness is not unspeakable like a rabbit's horn, but rather the way of experiencing directly oneself. If examined, there is no grasping of "what is this." If left in its natural state, its own radiance shines unceasingly as suchness. It cannot be measured or grasped by the mind. If one clings to the meaning of accomplishment, then no matter how much one seeks through examination and analysis, it is a cause of weariness. It is like wanting to touch the reflection of the moon in water, no matter how one searches, one cannot encounter it. Therefore, the self-arisen wisdom merely arises naturally and without reliance. If there is even a speck of acceptance or rejection, or attachment, saying "this is meditation," then it is not the correct view. The imputation of "the nature of realization" and so on, as said before, is merely imputed upon the meaning of non-attachment to anything. Apart from that, one must know that there is no separate "nature of realization." Thus, the inconceivable expanse of awareness is the realm of experience that is without object, self-luminous, and naked. The way in which such meaning of realization transcends the acceptance of its own nature is as follows: In this way, the cause from which it arises is empty. Whether it is the aggregates, elements, or sense bases, there is no grasping that it arises and changes from them. If the nature of mind itself is ungraspable, then the result or power that arises from it as a cause is also ungraspable. Due to the actions of each individual nature and the cause of clinging to self, feeling accumulates and dwells in the body, and one thinks that it dwells especially in the heart. In conventional terms, this may be so, but ultimately, if one's own nature is ungraspable, then who knows where it dwells? It is unknowable. If one thinks that it dwells in a certain place, then one must see the one who dwells. If it does not exist, then touching or relying on the support is also meaningless. It does not wander in external objects, nor does it roam or move in any part of the body. If it exists, then one must see the basis that moves from one place to another. Or rather, when thoughts and concepts cease, one cannot say, "It went here." Because if it existed before, then it does not exist now, so one must say, "It went here." How does the mind encounter external objects and the like? Because the object of encounter has been abandoned. The way in which the nature is empty is that the mind, the mind, which is so famous, does not trace back to the past, inside or outside, does not welcome the future, and directly looks at the present awareness. The awareness that emerges from the bubble of thoughts of the three times is clear and lucid.
