Regarding the wonders of breaking through, these are the sublime words of the holy ones. If one recognizes the mind, how do things outside of the mind exist? Oh, all the external sense bases that appear as objects are experienced solely by one's own mind. If there were no mind, who would perceive and know that the object exists and is what it is? This is the power of the mind. One might wonder, do objects and subjects appear? All the knowledge that appears as objects and subjects, as long as it is knowledge, there is not a single particle that is different from the mind, because it is non-dual with the mind. Then, how do objects appear to exist? If those objects are examined through subsequent analysis, they gradually vanish into falsehood and cannot be pinpointed. In reality, non-existence merely appears as a semblance of existence, like strands of hair in the sky, emanated from the various habitual tendencies of the magician's own mind. Thus, it is decisively shown that appearances are mind. One might think that this is not merely an entry into Mind-Only, because to refute the true existence of external objects, one needs something like the wisdom of the Middle Way. This is because it depends on the individual's capacity. Initially, if one has not settled on the non-existence of external objects, one will not enter internally. Or, as previously stated, it depends on some necessities, such as cultivating the power of the mind, etc., so it is explained initially. If one does not understand these, one cannot plant the pith instructions that directly strike the mind. The situation is as the Protector Maitreya said: 'Having known with intelligence that there is nothing other than mind, then also realize that mind itself is without essence. The intelligent one, knowing that both are without existence, abides in the realm of phenomena that is without existence.' Next, explaining the main body of the view. In general, there are three types of view: the correct view, the view that is in harmony with it, and the wrong view. The first is: the inexpressible Atiyoga. The second is: the view of the path of not yet attaining it. The third is: the view of eternalism and nihilism. When analyzing solely from the perspective of the basis of the view—the knowable—if one clings to existence, one will look at the aggregates of fear and, by thinking that things are permanent, fall into the extreme of eternalism. Although existing, if one thinks that things are unrelated to cause and effect and are discontinuous, one will fall into the extreme of nihilism. Completely non-existent, like a rabbit's horn, this is merely a temporary delusion of extreme childishness. Saraha said: 'Clinging to existence, beings are deluded; clinging to non-existence is even more foolish.' And, 'There is no annihilation, no permanence,' etc., through these one can understand. Existence
