That one who doesn't look at me, from beginningless time has only taken looking as his task. But there is one place he has never looked, and that is what is called the mind. It is amazing that he has only looked at it just today, so he has shortened the time to look. Furthermore, from a long time without beginning, he has been accompanying me, serving me to the point of exhaustion in order to fulfill all my desires, and the darling who will continue to be served is the mind, which is labeled "I." Not only has he not seen it before, he has not even desired to see it. It is like a husband hiding from his sleeping wife, giving her everything she wants, and calling himself her "spouse." Many years pass without her seeing or looking at what kind of spouse he is. Then, after a while, someone urges her to see what kind of spouse she has, and she desires to look. This is even more so. Today, with the near word "today," without delay, it is appropriate to look at it right now, and the desire to look increases greatly. As the great Orgyen said, "It is amazing to be with someone for a long time and not know them!" Then, to inspire those fortunate ones who have entered that path, I say: O son of good family, all the doctrines that are examined by looking outward are far from wisdom, as if they are far away. Therefore, rather than striving for hundreds of thousands of hearings and reflections, this one profound dharma of cutting through the essence of the mind by looking inward is the most supreme. No matter how good it is to measure the nature of reality by the power of analysis by turning outward, it is only like an image of the nature of dharma that the mind has drawn. This is because the nature of reality itself is directly established by the power of experience, so this kind of teaching is profound and vast because it can establish the intention of all the paths of the Victorious Ones' teachings. Therefore, other paths are parts of realizing this. Without realizing this, there is no enlightenment, and because this does not depend on others but relies on oneself to directly encounter and recognize wisdom, as the great Orgyen said, "If you realize this, even a cowherd will be liberated. Even if you are skilled in all the explanations of the nine vehicles, if you do not realize this, even a pandita will be confused." This profound secret of the mind, like this, needs to be purified very much for many eons.

Therefore, it is necessary to introduce its fruit here. The way to become a fruit is, starting from the Sutra path taught by the Victorious Vajradhara, up to Atiyoga. Like a ladder combined with stages. The intention is to become a method of taming the mind, ultimately leading to the sole wisdom. In general, a path that separates method and wisdom is not a correct path. Because that is not the cause of producing the fruit of wisdom. The fruit obtained through the path of combining method and wisdom, the fruit of inseparable method and wisdom, is the ultimate intention of the Victorious Ones. For example, how the Sutra destroys the gross division of the apprehended and the apprehender, reducing it to dust and moments. The self-grasping clinging to dust is also destroyed. The Mind-Only School destroys the self-aware wisdom that is empty of both the apprehended and the apprehender. The Middle Way School also destroys the notion of clinging to self-awareness as true. Because it is realized that within the knowable, there is not a single particle of dharma that is truly established. Therefore, all conventional dharmas are like illusions. In the ultimate truth, the assertion of this is not that is exhausted, and it is extinguished in the state of inexpressible emptiness. After knowing this, in the state of non-grasping and non-attachment, when the union of the dharmadhatu and wisdom is extinguished. All dharmas that are indivisible into two truths enter into the non-dual wisdom of equal taste, even if one is to accomplish Buddhahood. With such a path, there is no need to go through many difficulties, in a single moment, like the six senses, the two aspects of samsara and nirvana appear, and the cage of the clinging mind is shattered. The previously mentioned self-arisen wisdom of the one taste of method and wisdom. In order to see the essence of the intention of all the Victorious Ones, it is therefore called the near path. Lower vehicle practitioners need to make long-term efforts to enter and practice such wisdom, and to accumulate merit, equally practicing method and wisdom. But here, for the view of newly practicing method and wisdom, where the two, dharmadhatu and wisdom, fall into conceptualization, there is no need to force suppression. Because the state of the two, dharmadhatu and wisdom, being inseparable from the beginning, is revealed nakedly as it is. After saying this, especially calling out to the fortunate ones, meaning that the unfortunate ones will not believe in and practice such a dharma. Then, introducing the mind itself. A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A) refers to the dharmadhatu of inexpressible emptiness. Ho (Tibetan: ཧོཿ, Devanagari: हो, Romanized Sanskrit: ho, Literal Chinese meaning: Ho) refers to the great bliss that does not change. These two are united.
