May the supreme samadhi be attained! This was also written on the twelfth day of the eleventh month of the Water Horse year, during a session of Vajrakila practice. May it be virtuous! The Five Vajra Songs of Yoga Realization. Namo Manjushriye (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Homage to Manjushri). Drinking the nectar essence of the Guru's instructions, Relying on the profound path of the lineage's teachings, The king of mind, naturally abiding without fabrication, Through the yoga of realizing the meaning of that intention, The mind is as clear and pure as the sky, The waves of conceptual thoughts naturally cease. The innate Dharmakaya, the great bliss of co-emergence, All phenomena are of one taste, that very nature is directly realized. In this sky, there is no happiness or suffering, Likewise, awareness is primordially unborn, Free from the signs of happiness, suffering, change, and characteristics, The supreme yoga of self-aware luminosity seeing the meaning. In the nature of the sky, all phenomena of appearance shine, In the nature of awareness, samsara and nirvana appear as illusions, Even appearing, they are self-liberated, without loss or gain, acceptance or rejection. Many tastes are one, the bliss of sky yoga. Although there is no object of focus, no sign to grasp, Great compassion pervades all directions and times. Through the effortless, spontaneously accomplished activity, May the limitless ocean of sentient realms be crossed! Written by Dhyi Shar Dhi on the thirteenth day of the seventh month of the Fire Bird year of the Rabjung cycle. May it be virtuous! The Essential Instructions on How to Meditate on the Meaning of Mind Vajra. The innate Vajra of Mind, I prostrate to Manjushri, the Mind Hero of Wisdom. For those who wish to practice the meaning of Mind, When you directly and decisively realize That your own mind is primordially unborn, Through the self-arisen luminosity of wisdom, You will know the true nature without doubt. At that time, the instruction on how to abide is: Uncorrected, remain naturally in that state. Without distraction, maintain the continuity of mindfulness. However, when conceptual thoughts, investigations, And the clarity and non-clarity of meditation, And the various changes of thoughts arise, Without losing your own nature, remain in that state. Abandon conceptual thoughts without affirmation or negation. At that time, if it is like being empty and blank, Like fixing your gaze on an external object, Within the heart of the one who is fixing, At that pitiable meditator, Look and rest without fabrication. Without engaging in mind-holding with characteristics, In the inexpressible natural state of that mind, Remaining evenly is the crucial point. Thus, constantly maintain without distraction, Because the entering of wind and mind is one, The essential points of the body are complete with the seven dharmas, Or sit straight in the vajra posture.

Straighten your posture. Relax your body and mind, slow down your pace. Inwardly, place mind on mind. The nature of mind will naturally appear. Gather the karmas into the central channel. Clinging and delusions will naturally dissolve. Although the nature of reality is no different inside and out, In order to control the winds and mind, Don't be like meditating on the object of meditation and the meditator, Don't cling to samadhi. Focus on the mind of the meditator, Rest in the natural state without fabrication. In this way, calm abiding is easy to accomplish, The winds and mind quickly enter the central channel. Self-arisen clear light, insight arises. This is the instruction of the essential points of experience. Once accustomed, when the mind bound by ropes Is liberated in its original state, There is no difference between inner and outer clinging. The clear light floats in the original sky. Practice like this, and in future generations, The merits of meditation will increase rapidly. May all beings, through the merit of this utterance, Realize the eternal state of original nature. On the 14th day of the 10th month of the Iron Pig year, Through the blessing of Manjushri Vajra, It was well propagated by one named Dhi May the three times be virtuous and auspicious! This is a very important key point of meditation. Emaho! 1 The protector of original great bliss, Is inherently pervasive to all, and never changes. All elaborations are pacified, from the nature of peace, Dwells in the splendor of unceasing play. This original nature transcends the realm of fabrication, Empty and clear, without grasping, vast and free. Everything, everything is one taste in it, Free from birth and death, the three times are originally pure. 2 Free from edges and center, abandoning the parts of direction, Free from all dualistic phenomena, the nature of non-dual equality. The essence of the hearts of the Buddhas of the three times, Profound, beyond mind, supremely perfect. 3 It cannot be expressed by words and intellectual speculation, Self-nature clear light, self-radiance self-arising. Unfabricated, without grasping, resting in this is it. Yogi, purify your own mind! 4 If there are no essential points of the guru's instructions, The years of meditation and practice are wasted on adding delusions. Unable to untie the bonds of delusion, Those who are without essential points and chatter endlessly are in vain! 5 In the original, self-nature, boundless sky, The skies of form and emptiness also dissolve into it, Whatever the state of being or non-being, The realm of cessation dwells in one's own mind. 6 Without grasping, rest relaxed, and this is it. There is no turning back.
