Dwelling in the vast expanse of space. From the beginning, existence and samsara are great bliss. The wisdom body is the union of awareness and emptiness. Having prostrated to the self-arisen lamp of Manjushri, the secret instructions are taught. Demolish the house of mind and intellect. Look at the natural face of non-thought. When the first thought arises vaguely, where does one's own mind reside, internally or externally? What is its shape, color, and characteristics? From where does it come, and where does it cease? When thoroughly examined and the root is cut, it is unceasingly clear, yet its essence is empty. Clarity and emptiness are not different, and inexpressible, experience it. Establish certainty through experiential understanding. Furthermore, do not engage in rejection or acceptance, because of familiarity with clinging and experiencing. Relax and look at your natural state. In the absence of duality between subject and object, in the unconfined expanse where emptiness, appearance, and conceptual sounds have no basis, although nothing is seen as "this," there is nothing lacking in that non-seeing. In the self-awareness of one's own nature, manifest realization without elimination or placement. When the sting of conceptual impurities and doubts is cut off, it arises like the sun rising in the sky. At that time, slightly contract the lower wind. Smile just to the extent that the lips meet. This is the sign of the essential point of bliss. Without touching anything with the tongue, the mouth is slightly open. This is said to be the sign of the essential point of non-duality. Fix the gaze on the sky without wavering. Also, without blocking the senses. This is the sign of the essential point of clarity. Keep the eyeballs still, gazing intently. Also, without moving the senses. This is the sign of the essential point of non-thought. These four signs are the instructions of the Longdé series. If you have these, mind and nature will spontaneously merge, it is said. When doing those actions, without being tainted by the movement of effort, remain in your natural state. Abide in your own place, unmoving, beyond thought. Abandon all mental activity and abide. Just as muddy water, when left undisturbed, naturally becomes clear, when thoughts subside into their nature, the radiance of the nature of reality naturally dawns. Stare intently without wavering. It is important to cultivate familiarity and stability. The perfection of the formless stage, is the king of all instructions. Signs such as smoke, etc., are naturally perfected in this state. Clouds of blissful, clear, non-conceptual experience, whatever appears in the sky of your own mind, without acceptance or rejection, hope or fear, in the natural state of reality, simply prolong the duration of abiding. Awake, dreaming, deep sleep

In the four empowerments, in the environment of undifferentiated luminosity, before habituation becomes profound, cherish integrating with this key point. The self-sound of Dharma-nature, in the expanse of awareness, the clouds of unceasing display, even with the key point of non-dual self-arising, hold the manifest signs of the wisdom body. From the vase of obscurations, free from stages, like the light of a lamp. Abiding in beginningless nature, when all conceptual dualistic appearances are exhausted, all dharmas are a great bindu of non-duality. The result, self-born wisdom, is the nature of all victors, the ultimate destination traversed by the path. Emaho, self-aware Manjushri, Aho, speaks in a non-dual manner. For those fortunate to have the Ati path, write this (ཨཀྵ་ར,Devanagari: अक्षर,IAST: akṣara,Literal meaning: letter) on your heart. Written during a retreat at Taktsang. The pith instructions on the meaning of mind. I prostrate to the incomparable protector, Manjushri Guru. Undisguised friends, listen here. I will explain three key words of the unparalleled path. Leave the mind in its unaltered, natural state. There, maintain just a bit of unwavering mindfulness. To the father, the unparalleled lineage of vidyadharas, pray with unadulterated faith. From the blessing of the meaning lineage of realizing the unborn expanse, when it enters the heart without comparison, at the time of experiencing the inexpressible nature, without mental fabrication, just nakedly as it is, when it dawns as meditation without doubt, the meaning is unobscured, and the self-essence of awareness is grasped. Limitless in power, whatever thoughts arise, without affirmation or negation, in the very nature of awareness, without special intention, whatever arises is an ornament of play, without effort or accomplishment, whatever is done is the meaning of meditation. When practicing without interruption, in the environment of day and night luminosity, without grasping, the illusion of samsara vanishes. Without clinging, crazy alala. The meaning is unerring, seeing dispels darkness. Without end, the light of wisdom increases. Happiness is unchanging, always joyful upon attainment. Suffering is meaningless, for sentient beings who experience, boundless, self-radiance pervades with compassion. Inexhaustible glory, all the wealth of the victors, here, without effort, appears in the palm of the hand. The mind is irreversible, like ocean waves, without intentional obstruction, wisdom naturally arises. This is the special characteristic of the path without effort. The deathless lineage of Padmasambhava, incomparable love, this Dharma fortune bestowed by the father, the kindness is inexhaustible, fortunate ones who attain it, the path without effort, a staircase of jewels.
