Therefore, one must practice without straying from this (state). The reason is that you, the infallible protector, are the nature of limitless compassion, so at this very moment, do not abandon me and beings like me who wander in the ocean of the three sufferings. With the inconceivable blessings of body, speech, and mind, just as with the art of turning iron into gold, in order to bless the body, speech, and mind of myself and others who rely on and seek refuge, wherever you may be, such as in the pure lands of the Nirmanakaya like Ngayab Palri (Copper-Colored Mountain), please come to this place with the great power of compassion. After speaking these words of blessing and encouragement, one should also recite the mantra, which is as follows: Guru (Tibetan: གུ་རུ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: गुरु, Sanskrit Romanization: guru, literal Chinese meaning: teacher) is the lama who is heavy with all qualities, the unsurpassed one; Padma (Tibetan: པདྨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: पद्म, Sanskrit Romanization: padma, literal Chinese meaning: lotus) is the beginning of the name of the great Orgyen; Siddhi (Tibetan: སིདྡྷི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: सिद्धि, Sanskrit Romanization: siddhi, literal Chinese meaning: accomplishment) is the supreme and common accomplishment to be sought; Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Hum) urges to bestow such accomplishments. In short, to whom does the one who prays pray? It is to the great Orgyen, the embodiment of all Buddhas. The first verse is the birthplace, the second is how he was born, the third is the greatness of qualities, the fourth is the actual name of Guru Rinpoche, who is visualized in this way, the fifth is the compassionate play that tames all, and the retinue of heroes and dakinis are the objects of prayer. The sixth verse shows how to pray, that is, after seeing the qualities, with unwavering faith turning the mind to Guru, praying with the manifestations of body and speech motivated by the desire to ultimately achieve inseparability from Guru himself. After praying in this way, the seventh verse, with the mantra, shows the blessing of one's own mindstream and the gathering of accomplishments. This is the way to pray with devotion, believing that Guru Rinpoche abides in the pure lands of the Nirmanakaya as the immortal wisdom body, and that if we faithful ones pray, compassion and blessings will surely enter immediately. This is from the Seven-Line Prayer, the heart essence treasure of Guru Chokyi Wangchuk. Homage to the deity of the vow! For the fortunate lineage holders of future generations.

Son! If you seek refuge in me, the master of Oddiyana, stay alone in a secluded place, generate renunciation for impermanence, and cherish weariness of samsara. Entrust your lungs, heart, and chest to me. Furthermore, completely entrust all hopes of refuge to me, the master of Oddiyana. You know the dependence of happiness and suffering yourself. No need for offerings and praise, abandon accumulating wealth. With reverence in body, speech, and mind, pray with these seven lines. In the northwest of the land of Oddiyana, on the stem of a lotus flower, you attained the supreme and wondrous siddhi, and are renowned as Padmasambhava. Surrounded by many dakinis, I will practice following you. Please come to bestow blessings. Guru Padmasiddhi Hūṃ (藏文:གུ་རུ་པདྨ་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:गुरु पद्म सिद्धि हुं,梵文罗马拟音:guru padma siddhi hūṃ,汉语字面意思:莲师成就吽)! Pray like this again and again, generate intense longing, shed tears. If the channels converge with faith, even Haka will surely attain it and remain stable. Sengge Yere, do not be distracted! For the child who prays like this, what need is there to say that I will protect them? They will become the son of the Buddhas of the three times, attain the self-awareness of great power in their mind, the strength of samadhi will be firm, wisdom will increase, and with the great blessing that arises naturally, they will ripen themselves, protect others, and eliminate suffering. When self-appearance changes, other appearances will change simultaneously, and activities will be accomplished. All qualities will be perfected in oneself, and the great being will ripen and be liberated into the Dharmakaya. May this great means of ripening and liberation meet the son with compassion! In particular, because the seven-line prayer of the practice of blessing is very profound, it is entrusted secretly as the innermost treasure of the mind. May you meet the one who is wise, compassionate, and possesses the power of Dharma! As it is said, in the space in front of oneself, in the land of Oddiyana, in the stainless Dhanakosha Sea, on the stem of a lotus flower, visualize the supreme Padma King with his retinue of heroes and dakinis, as clear and stable as an opened sesame pod, and diligently practice. Pray to this with reverence, and desiring to practice the three doors as the three vajras, this is the approaching practice, the two abbreviated stages of generation. Finally, the lama and retinue, and all the Tathagatas of the boundless ten directions and their retinue, dissolve like iron filings drawn to a magnet, and all dissolve into light and dissolve into oneself, practice this. Oneself and the deity are primordially inseparable in essence, abiding in the basis of the nature of reality, naturally arising.
