When approaching concentration, if there is no transformation, then you believe that the formless realms' beings do not transform, therefore, for the sake of becoming a Buddha, it is impossible to be born in the lower realms, because they have no body and are not sustained by food. In that case, they would have no transformation of semen, no happiness, and no cycle of existence; if it were not so, there would be a fault. In this tantra, it is also said, "In this body, everything is a collection of elements, consuming six tastes," and so on. As it is said, although there is no birth in the ultimate sense, if we follow the conventional appearance, then eating food of six tastes, meat, etc., becomes a collection of elements, from which arises the seed of semen born from the womb, and from that, the body is born. At the time of death, the seed of the nature of elements and five qualities will also certainly arise. Again, like a dream body, the body of habit appears to be free from the collection of subtle particles. It is precisely this that again grasps the body that has accumulated particles. In this way, previous and subsequent existences arise continuously, but the previous existence does not transfer to the subsequent one, nor is it without cause, but revolves like recitation and lamps, and so on. Therefore, beings such as humans and animals who live on six tastes of food, at the time of semen transformation, a seed of five elements nature, born from karma, arises. Their mental imprints also become the nature of the five elements. The bodies of the gods of the form realm are not sustained by six tastes of food, so they do not become the nature of the five elements. The bodies of the six classes of gods who enjoy desires in the desire realm, such as the moon and the sun, are the nature of the collection of water, fire, self, and space. They possess the four qualities of form, taste, touch, and sound, and are therefore devoid of the qualities of earth and smell, because the body is light. At the time of semen transformation, it is also the nature of the four elements other than earth, and the mental imprints are also the same. The types of gods in the form realm are the nature of the collection of subtle particles of fire, wind, and taste. They possess the three qualities of taste, touch, and sound. They are devoid of the qualities of earth, water, smell, and form. At the time of semen transformation, they have the nature of the three qualities, and the mental imprints are also of the nature of these three. The bodies of the beings in the formless realms are emp

The nature of the space element is merely the habitual tendencies of the mind. It possesses the quality of sound, but because it possesses that quality, the manifestation of sound and the consciousness of hearing do not manifest. Semen also lacks the four elements such as earth and their qualities such as smell, etc., it is merely the space element and the quality of sound. Here, there is a habitual tendency to transfer to the formless realm, but there is no need to mention that semen does not actually arise. Thus, these elements such as earth are established as the cause of smell, etc., according to the proportion of major components. Generally, one element alone produces each of the smells, etc. Because it does not transform into the habitual tendencies of samsara, wherever there is one, the others are also complete in meaning, and each element has the ability to produce all five. In these three realms, there are sixty-one realms in total: hell, hungry ghosts, animals, humans, asuras, and desire gods. Sixteen in the form realm and four in the formless realm. In these three realms, when the seed is transferred, as mentioned above, semen with five, four, three, and one qualities arises, which is due to the habitual tendencies of the mind. If there is no habitual tendency to transfer to other forms, one will not wander in samsara. Therefore, in the fifty-eighth verse of the fifth chapter of this tantra, it says: The three realms of earth, water, fire, etc., are the collection of realms, pairs and pairs and the one with a rabbit, and finally the realm of Dharma, etc. For such reasons, due to the thoughts of sentient beings, the Dharma taught by the Tathagata also expounds the four schools of Sarvastivada, Sautrantika, Yogacara, and Madhyamaka, according to the proximity and distance of their connection to the meaning of Suchness. The teaching for Sarvastivadins is a treatise that makes the person who transmigrates and is born in samsara completely clear. The teaching for Sautrantikas is a treatise that makes external objects completely clear. The teaching for Yogacarins is a treatise that makes the three realms merely consciousness completely clear. The teaching for Madhyamikas is a treatise that makes the non-conceptual Suchness of ultimate truth completely clear. Moreover, sentient beings have been non-Buddhists, gods, spirits, and asuras since beginningless time.
