There is nothing that is made up of an aggregation of particles. By virtue of this, feelings of happiness and suffering arise in the mind. If one examines it in terms of ultimate truth, no subtle harm will occur to a body that the mind has not grasped as its own body through habit, just like a corpse. Here, in the state of dreaming, this body composed of aggregates of particles remains on the bed, and although there is no subtle harm, in the dream, one dreams that one's body falls into a ravine, limbs are damaged, etc. Due to the habits of the mind that are seen in the dream, suffering arises in the mind. Similarly, the suffering of being frightened by being bound by wild animals and enemies, and the happiness that arises in the mind from meeting a beautiful woman and experiencing the joy of caresses, are all clear and well-known in all the world. Thus, in a dream, although the body composed of aggregates of particles does not go to another place, the self-awareness of experiencing happiness and suffering in that body that has gone to another place arises due to the power of the mind's habits. This is amazing. If even the wise cannot fathom these experiences of illusory-like awareness that appear due to the power of the habits of sentient beings, then what need is there to say that the ignorant cannot fathom the self-awareness of a yogi, which arises from habits that transcend samsaric habits and from nirvanic habits, the wisdom of unchanging great bliss, Kuntuzangpo? If the tirthikas, who have evil intelligence and cling to the very nature of the life-force wind, say that in the state of dreaming, this body composed of aggregates of particles has the inhalation and exhalation of breath, and that by virtue of this, one experiences the appearances and happiness and suffering of the dream, then at the time of death and fainting, when there is no inhalation and exhalation of breath for a period of one tun, that person is taken by the messengers of Yama to the city of Yama, the King of Death, and Yama and his retinue appear, and they examine his virtuous and non-virtuous deeds. If they judge that this person's life is not yet exhausted, they will order the messengers to return him, and the messengers will return him to his corpse, and he will enter his body again, resume breathing, and tell his relatives about his experiences in the realm of Yama. Therefore, even without a body composed of accumulated particles and without inhalation and exhalation of breath, due to the power of the mind's habits that have been familiar since beginningless time and the sudden arising of habits again and again.

Even though various appearances of suffering and happiness arise, these habitual tendencies are sudden and do not enter into the nature of the mind. If they did, one could not become a Buddha who is free from habitual tendencies. Therefore, the Tathagata has declared that it is through the exhaustion of sudden habitual tendencies that one becomes a Buddha. Thus, after analyzing with various kinds of reasoning, samsara is merely the appearance of one's own mind's habitual tendencies, and nothing else. The habitual tendencies of samsara are also momentary, characterized by the changing of semen, dust, and wind, and are not unchanging. If it were unchanging like space, then it would not be appropriate to generate various habitual tendencies, because all habitual tendencies are severed, and in the wisdom body of the Buddha who has realized the equality of samsara and nirvana, there is no moment of arising and ceasing in any way. As it is said in the scriptures: At that time, there is no birth and no death. The habitual tendency of nirvana is the cause of the moment of unchanging characteristics, and the unchanging situation is at the stage of the path. Thus, in this tantra also, in the one hundred and second verse of the inner chapter, as it is said, "Which in the center of which," etc., it explains how the mind is bound and wanders in the three realms due to the habituation of habitual tendencies. Regarding the habitual tendency of nirvana, also in the ninety-seventh verse of the same chapter, such as "Yogic power, yogini not attained," etc., it explains that in this life, from the habitual tendencies of practicing the path, one obtains the result in another life. Therefore, relying on the power of the mind's habitual tendencies, the great bliss of embracing the empty form Mahamudra, self-awareness, will be transformed into wisdom light, and it is not necessary to unite with a consort who has a body of subtle particles. If someone thinks that in a dream, dreaming of having intercourse and ejaculating from the sleeping body is because the power of the body makes bliss self-aware, and not only the habitual tendencies of the mind make bliss self-aware. If those who are attached to the pleasure of ejaculation of the two organs think this way, then this statement is not valid. Because, even in the continuum of formless beings who do not have a body accumulated by dust particles, there is also the phenomenon of ejaculation. If it is said that without a body accumulated by dust particles, one cannot transfer, without transfer one cannot transmigrate, and without transmigration there is no great bliss.
