Those who delight in Dharma but stray from the path of omniscience, those who rely on the four castes and the one caste, those who desire the enjoyments of the heavens, and those who speak of a doer and a self. Among them, those who speak of sound or grammar are those who rely on the Dharma of gods like Brahma and pretas. Likewise, those who speak of Ishvara and a doer, and those who speak of castes as well. The Kllaklas are those who have entered the Dharma of the Asuras, taught by Rahmaṇa. Rahmaṇa himself believes in a doer and says that life is eternal, and they are those who are devoid of praising the Brahmin caste as good. These Kllaklas have both kinds of clinging, namely, clinging to external objects as being of the nature of aggregates of atoms, and clinging to the existence of a self of a person who is a part or a temporary state of samsara. Their thought is, if there is no person who enters into the body of aggregates of atoms, who has a part of birth, then after the previous body of aggregates of atoms has disintegrated, who will grasp another body? Therefore, there is a person who is miraculously born. The fruit of heaven achieved by that person, namely, the bliss of the gods, is nirvana, and there is no other nirvana than that. When they ask about reality, the Buddha, knowing their thoughts, said in the Sutra of Bearing the Burden: "There is a person who bears the burden, but I do not say that I am permanent or impermanent." Therefore, that (statement) became true and reasonable in their own eyes, and the Buddha also spoke in accordance with their thoughts. What does that mean? Although in conventional truth, there is a person who bears the burden of accumulating karma in samsara and continuously experiencing the fruits of karma, that is only imputed on the continuum, so from its own nature, it is neither impermanent nor permanent, which is the true statement. Just as in the state of dreaming, the body that arises only from the imprints of the mind, and the person who experiences pleasure and pain, are not actually there, but only appear, so it is not permanent, nor is it the nature of impermanent things. Likewise, the nature of the person does not exist, it is only imputed, so there is no imputation of permanence or impermanence. Therefore, it is said in this sense. These words of the Tathagata, abandoning the Dharma of the Kllaklas, enter the Buddhist

The adherents of Specific Expression (Vaibhashika) who are attached to grasping appeared first. This refers to the divisions within the Specific Expression, such as the Sthavira school. Later, upon hearing the Buddha teach the Dharma of selflessness and transcendence to the Bodhisattvas, they completely abandoned their attachment to the notion of a person. Some adherents of Specific Expression also relied on the path of the perfectly enlightened Buddha, which speaks of selflessness. The Sutra School (Sautrantika) also holds the belief in the nature of aggregates of subtle particles. The thought of these proponents of external objects is that if sentient beings (with movement) and inanimate objects (without movement) contained within space are not of the nature of being composed of subtle particles, then the three realms and the cycle of good and bad migrations would cease to exist. If that were the case, then Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and the supreme Nirvana would also cease to exist, and the relics of the Buddha would also cease to exist, because there would be no meaning of subtle particles being contained within or constituting coarse matter. Therefore, when those attached to external objects asked the Buddha about the true meaning, the Bhagavan, knowing their thoughts, taught the Dharma in accordance with them: "There exists a body of the final existence, possessing the nature of aggregates of subtle particles and endowed with the thirty-two major marks of a great being, by virtue of which one becomes a perfectly enlightened Buddha and attains great Nirvana." This is true in their view, because the Bhagavan truly manifested relics for the sake of taming them. Thus, these adherents of external objects, having heard that the Buddha possesses the power or qualities of a body with the nature of aggregates of subtle particles, and that there exists a Buddha endowed with marks and signs, abandoned the heretical systems that assert caste, sound, Ishvara, and the agent, and thus the Buddhist Sutra School arose. Later, the Bodhisattvas again heard the Buddha teach the Dharma of transcendence, abandoned their attachment to external objects, and some relied on the path of the perfectly enlightened Buddha, thus the Yogacharas arose. The Yogacharas also
