Commentary on the Wisdom Chapter of the Kalachakra. Commentary on the Wisdom Chapter of the Kalachakra. Commentary on the Wisdom Chapter of the Kalachakra. Homage. To the sole primordial Vajra Body, the all-pervading lord of all the classes of Samye's Magical Net, with this mind that is manifestly clear, I pay homage, equal in taste like water into water. Although the vajra words reveal the treasure of profound meaning, it is rare to see it as it is. Nevertheless, relying on the excellent explanations of the holy ones, I will try to differentiate as much as I can with a mind of benefiting others. Here, at the southern side of the city of Glorious Kalapa, at the eastern gate of the palace of the mandala of the Glorious Wheel of Time in the garden of Malaya, seated on a great jeweled lion throne in a jeweled portico, the emanation of Manjushri, the human lord known as 'Grakpa' (Fame), having been requested by the Brahma sage, the chariot of the sun, the Wisdom Chapter was spoken by the Supreme First Buddha, and when requested by Sazangpo (Good Moon), the Thus-Gone One spoke in response in the first verse, explaining the method of the main deity, etc. The method of the main deity, the supreme Victor, the Thus-Gone One, together with all those who rely on him, whatever the teacher has said, I have understood a little. Again, Sazangpo said, 'I wish to listen, O teacher of gods and humans.' What is it that he wishes to listen to? It is the differentiation of the elements of the body, such as bones, the purification of all phenomena, the transformation into the nature of the mandala that is the basis of the Wheel of Time, the six aggregates, the six families of the Buddhas, and the six elements, the six families of yoginis, how is their nature pure? And how those seeds of their respective families, the vowels A (藏文,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:ā,汉语字面意思:阿) Ali and the consonants Ka (藏文,梵文天城体:क,梵文罗马拟音:ka,汉语字面意思:嘎) Li, etc., abide, and through the door of their nature, the profound meaning of the Wisdom Chapter, which is the nature of the stainless great wisdom mandala, is purified, so please explain that meaning well, O Bhagavan.' Having heard those words of request from Sazangpo, the teacher, the Bhagavan Shakya Simha himself, the nature of the Wheel of Time, the nature of the four bodies, the basis or progenitor of all the families of the Victorious Ones, such as the stainless aggregates and elements, the first one.

The Lord of the Buddhas, the Victorious Ones, with the distinctions of the elements of the basic time, declared this chapter on definitive wisdom, including mandalas, etc. With this verse, with three lines of supplication, starting from the fourth line, until the entire chapter is completed, these are the vajra words of the root tantra spoken by the Tathagata. King Manjushri Kirti, as the one who indicates the meaning, summarized and showed it with this verse. From this verse until the entire chapter is completed, it is the Tathagata's speech, and there are no more words of questioning and supplication in between. Then, the meaning of this wisdom chapter spoken by the Teacher, how it is spoken in the root tantra, is explained through twenty aspects of enlightenment, symbolizing the base, path, and fruit, through twenty abodes. 1. Abiding by the nature of the mandala, which is the complete purification of the elements such as the bones of the body. 2. Abiding by the nature of the deities of body, speech, mind, and the six lineages. 3. Abiding by the nature of the six lineages of mantras, such as A and Ka. 4. Abiding by the nature of the thirty-six continuums of skillful means and wisdom. 5. Abiding by the nature of skillful means, wisdom, activities, yoga, mindfulness, great vows, and the six wheels of emanation. 7. Abiding by the nature of the means of accomplishment of the fourth empowerment, the supreme, immutable, great seal wisdom. 6. Abiding by the nature of the emanation of the wisdom mandala. 9. Abiding by the nature of the means of accomplishment of relying on the mind of enlightenment. 8. Abiding by the nature of the accomplishment of the great seal, which is the nature of all knowable and known things. 9. Abiding by the nature of examining all activities of body, speech, and mind. 10. Abiding by the nature of teaching the eighty-four thousand aggregates of Dharma. 11. Abiding by the nature of gathering the Buddha fields. 12. Abiding by the nature of dwelling in the realm of space together with bodhisattvas and great beings equal to the motes of Mount Meru, with one means. 12. The nature of gathering the Buddha fields.
