Whatever manifestations of power and might accord with the predispositions of gods and humans, ingrained in their minds from previous habits, this is actually the nature of emptiness, the dharma that is primordially unborn in its essence. For example, just as the image of the sky appears in clear water, here too, the illusion of birth arises. Since the sky has no form, its image appearing in water is actually non-existent. However, the space of the sky between the mountains and other objects that appear from all directions also appears in the water, just as the sky appears in the water, giving the illusion that the sky has entered the water. Similarly, the Buddha, as the dharmata, the essence of reality, does not move from the unborn and unceasing nature of the dharmakaya, like the sky. Just as the image of the sky appears there due to the clarity of the water, so too does the Buddha's manifestation appear in one's own mind. Similarly, in the Uttaratantra, it says: "Just as on a pure ground of lapis lazuli, the image of the body of the lord of gods appears, so too in the pure ground of sentient beings' minds, the image of the body of the Lord of Sages arises." And: "Like Indra, the capable one does not abide in birth and death, but constantly abides in the dharmakaya." The meaning of these statements is the same. In short, the vajra of the body of the Victorious One is not something to be traversed or realized through the grasping-apprehender relationship of objects such as form and subjects such as the eye, but is the form of emptiness, possessing all aspects of form, an indestructible vajra-like body. The vajra of speech is not a mere fragment of sound, but in accordance with the hearts of all sentient beings, that is, the thoughts of their minds, it enables the understanding of limitless gates of dharma in their respective languages, an indestructible, all-aspects-empty, sacred sound. The vajra of the mind of all the Buddhas, the Vajradhara who possesses the five immutable natures, is the realization of the clear light nature of the minds of sentient beings, and the knowledge of how they abide on the ground of seeing all knowable things, and knowing all that exists. These two are inseparable, great bliss equal to the sky, the immutable vajra mind. Like a stainless jewel, the basis for various diverse phenomena of body, speech, and mind, is the sole, non-dual, great bliss, co-emergent wisdom, that is the wisdom vajra.

Now, the purity of the deities manifested in the mandala is explained. From what cause do the perfections, such as generosity, give the result of bliss and equality? These are the six perfections from generosity to wisdom, and the four perfections of skillful means, power, aspiration, and wisdom. These ten perfections are said to be the ten power-mothers. The means of these power-mothers are the ten aspects of the supreme pure nectar, which are the ten vases filled with bodhicitta. Based on this, the number of deities on the lotus seat is counted by vases, and some believe that the vases are the fathers of the power-mothers. However, whatever is said to be skillful means and wisdom does not necessarily have to be male and female parents. The deities on the lotus seat are the number of deities with male and female aspects, so if vases are counted there, it will exceed the fundamental number. Moreover, conch shells, jewels, etc., would also have to be counted as deities, which is unreasonable. The demons and afflictions that decline on the left and right refer to the desire deities under the feet of the main deity, which are the demons and powerful takers. The assembly of body, speech, mind, and wisdom vajra refers to the four symbols such as the wish-fulfilling tree. The six mudras are the six letters of the empty point, which generate the three realms free from obscurations. The main father and mother are the wisdom and consciousness that are equally tasted in freedom from obscurations. The symbol of the wheel is the mirror-like wisdom that makes the three realms appear completely clear. Great bliss, equality wisdom is the symbol of the jewel. The attachment and innate joy of this is the discriminating wisdom lotus. Cutting off and exhausting all afflictions is the symbol of the accomplishing wisdom sword. The symbol of the vajra is also the great body of wisdom, free from the obscuration of consciousness, the all-pervading dharmadhatu wisdom, which is the vajra that cannot be distinguished by conceptual thought. Cutting off ignorance, which transforms into unknowing, is the symbol of the hooked knife, which is the supreme six families that gather the five wisdoms, which is self-born wisdom. Thus, whatever arises and manifests from these six symbols of the six families, whatever belongs to the lineage, whether it is aggregates, elements, or sense bases, etc., all their own nature is originally free from obscurations.
