Alas, even one's own household affairs become controlled by others. Alas, just for the sake of happiness in this life, one becomes attached to pursuing trivial knowledge, thereby neglecting great matters and deeply falling into evil Dharma. These people are truly pitiable! The above is determined from the Great Commentary, in the manner of the first chapter of the Great Abridgement, which elaborates on the Yoga Mother Tantra and others. Although all elaborations of the four extremes are completely liberated, the nature of mind is naturally luminous, the essence of reality. The lord of all the great bliss Vajra families, to that supreme primordial Buddha, I pay homage with utmost respect. In order to elucidate the ultimate meaning of this profound tantra, the lotus flower, which is the nature of the three abodes, has been well explained by the two great abridgements. May this clarify its intention and become a joyous feast of good fortune. Ninth, the abiding in the nature of the unfolding of the mandala of wisdom is explained from the ninety-ninth verse, "Not wisdom," etc., to the third line of the one hundred and eleventh verse. According to the root tantra, the unfolding of the mandala of wisdom is the seventh place, but in this condensed tantra, it is made the ninth place. Among them, the mandalas of the boundless illusory net, etc., are unfolded from the state of the innate great bliss of the nature body. How so? It is not merely a part of wisdom, nor is it just skillful means; the two are inseparable and without distinction. This is the nature of the single bindu, the co-emergent body, which manifests the objects of knowledge as they are, in their true nature, without obstruction, accomplishing the two purities, the Dharmata body. Furthermore, if wisdom and skillful means are taken as symbols, then wisdom is the nature of fifteen, the white side. Skillful means is the waning part of the moon, the black side. Similarly, white is night, and black is day, which is the thinking part of skillful means and wisdom. Not falling into either of these two sides, transcending the knower and the known, each to be realized by oneself, like existence being the white side of skillful means and non-existence being the black side, it is nothing at all, therefore it is called neither existent nor non-existent, like existence being like a pot, etc., and non-existence being like a rabbit's horn, etc., liberated from the extremes of existence and non-existence, that is, emptiness and appearance are inseparable, by the yogis.

The realm of individual self-awareness cannot be conceived of with words, as has been repeatedly stated before. It is not both existent and non-existent, because they are mutually contradictory, and it is impossible for these two to gather in one entity. It is also not that it is not the nature of both, meaning that apart from existence and non-existence, and their representative examples of black and white, it is not that the bliss of co-emergence exists elsewhere. Rather, apart from existence and non-existence, the nature of non-duality cannot be specifically pointed out in a third thing. Thus, with the four extremes completely purified, the sixteenth part that does not fall into either the black or white side, possessing all supreme aspects and being the nature of emptiness, is said to be the co-emergent body. As it is said in the Great Commentary, when offering praise at the beginning of this section: "Not existent, not non-existent, not both existent and non-existent, nor is it the nature of both; liberated from the four extremes, I prostrate to the body of great bliss." As it is said. That co-emergent body is attained by yogis from the fourth empowerment, after the exhaustion of the imprints of transference. Therefore, during the causal path, the state of bliss of the mind in the fourth empowerment is the aspect of non-conceptualization, and the co-emergent aspect that has become free from obscurations, with similar aspects, is called the characteristic of the result of a concordant cause. Therefore, because it does not lean towards either wisdom or method, it is established that it is like a "jewel" (Sanskrit, Maṇi, Romanized Sanskrit, Maṇi, meaning wish-fulfilling jewel). As it is said, needless to say, co-emergent wisdom is not on either side of existence or non-existence, or method and wisdom. It is not even that the two are unmixed and merely gathered together, but because they are mixed together without distinction, it is said to be like a jewel, and it is so in terms of its own nature. However, distinguishing it from the opposite perspective is only from the perspective of terminology in all cases, and there are not two in the essence. Saying "neither of the two" in this way does not establish that it is neither of the two. Rather, it is said that the parts of existence and non-existence, appearance and emptiness, are treated equally, and thus it is said to be non-dual, like a jewel. Even if it is said like that, if the parts of appearance and emptiness are abandoned, and a non-dual thing is established separately elsewhere, it is not at all the self-aware wisdom of individual realization that is difficult to express, free from elaboration. Therefore, all phenomena of existence and samsara do not go beyond its nature, so it is the suchness free from elaboration, unchanging in the three times.
