Relying on the twelve links of dependent origination, which is the nature of sixteen knowledges, all Buddhas reside there, meaning that all aggregates of Buddhas, possessing the body of emptiness with all aspects and without obscurations, all reside there. Thus, the Buddha-fields are not entirely created by the winds of karma, but are inherently free from karmic self. With the body of wisdom, they create the three realms (desire realm, form realm, formless realm) as unobstructed realms, and truly see all phenomena as naturally pure, luminous, and of the nature of great perfection. In the expanse of a single pure atom where bliss and emptiness or the dependent and the depended are of equal taste, all Buddhas and their sons, the Bodhisattvas, reside in a manner of being completely surrounded. Here, in terms of ultimate truth, the so-called pure atom refers to the ten bhumis, stating that the Buddhas reside in the ten bhumis because they have already transcended the ten bhumis and reside in the appearance of the princes residing in the ten bhumis. What is a pure atom like? For example, when the essence of an ordinary person is accomplished, if mercury grasps iron, the two become equal in taste and turn into gold. Likewise, a Bodhisattva in samsara, through the power of bindu yoga, makes it irreversible, thereby obtaining residence in the twelve bhumis, meaning that the dependent and the depended are of equal taste. Secondly, for those who have attained the transformation of abiding in the suchness that is free from the characteristics of duality, the measure of atoms, Mount Meru, moments, and kalpas become equal, so in a moment they show the actions of the three times, and within a single minute atom, they show the arrangement of the worlds of the ten directions, and there is nothing that they cannot do. This is because the appearance of the size of directions and the length of time is merely imputed by conceptual thought and is not established in the reality of things. Here, a Bodhisattva is one who has not yet completely abandoned the part of obscuration and has not become a Buddha, but still desires or wishes to become a Buddha. The mind of aspiration is also mentioned in the Vajra Heart Commentary, that is, seeing the form of emptiness. After seeing the form of emptiness, seeing the form of the three realms in a line as thin as a hair, those who understand such a state have no hesitation in the realm of activity of the Buddha. The so-called atom of each individual taste is the conventional truth.

Through the power of, even each atom is divided by the five elements and the realm of wisdom, becoming the dust of taste, that is, six kinds of dust. Through the power of both method and wisdom, they are divided into twelve. The Vajra sons who dwell on the twelve bhumis completely surround the Buddha and abide there. Among them, the eighth bhumi, the Immovable, and above are mainly discussed. The Vajra sons are those who have seen the supreme emptiness that possesses all aspects and have attained the unchanging bliss, becoming sons of the Vajra lineage. Similarly, for each atom of the elements such as earth, which have become stainless and immutable, there are those who have attained the perfection of earth, etc., all the non-attached individuals who abide in their respective lineages, and the Bodhisattvas who have deeply entered the Immovable bhumi, etc., all abide together. As it is said in the Avatamsaka Sutra: "In a single tip of a hair, there are incalculable fields. In those fields, the shapes are different, and they do not dwell mixed together." As it is said, even within the scope of a single atom, countless worlds appear, manifested by the karma of sentient beings. Then, what need is there to mention the realm of activity of the Buddha, who is free from obscurations? Therefore, it is those with pure self-appearance who see the Buddha. Here, in the definitive sense, the term "atom" refers to the bhumis such as the Immovable, which are the basis of support, and not merely the finest dust. It should be understood that the term "pure atom" indicates the twelve bhumis of method and wisdom, because the Buddha has manifested the exhaustion of all obscurations. Thus, the pure retinue, those who are fortunate enough to see the Buddha, together with them, the wisdom body of indivisible bliss and emptiness, Vajrasattva, from the time of the destruction of the kalpa until the time of its re-formation, never changes and abides like space, in reality, until the end of sentient beings. Even so, if the two accumulations of merit and wisdom have not been jointly accumulated, then sentient beings will not be able to see the appearance of the Buddha, so saying "abides like space" means abiding in the Dharmakaya.
