From the four divisions come the four activities: the juncture of morning, that is, when it dawns, is pacifying; noon is increasing; when the sun sets, it is magnetizing; and midnight is destroying. Here, the eight-faced wisdom mother is the two-armed mother, the juncture of morning and evening is the two feet, noon and midnight are the two hands, all day and night is the one-faced mother, from this, practice has the necessity of meditation. The five mandalas of earth, water, fire, wind, and space, as well as the moon with the rabbit moving to the left, the sun moving to the right, and the god Rahu (Sanskrit Devanagari: राहु, Sanskrit Romanization: Rāhu, Chinese literal meaning: Rahu) moving in the middle, these are the life or existence of sentient beings, not the enjoyer, but being separate from the doer, continuously arising as cause and effect. Through these such as earth, for the life of a person's existence, the cause of the enjoyer is also due to the power of the fruits of good and non-good, even if it is not another cause, but ignorant children think that they are the enjoyers who enjoy these such as earth, and they cling to contaminated craving, clinging to suffering as happiness, sentient beings or assemblies of beings hope and seek for external stars, walkers, nagas, and gods to give the fruits of happiness and liberation, but by whose grace can one be completely liberated from the suffering of samsara? The air of one's own body entering the central channel, pacifying all suffering with non-discriminating mind, that is not the doer, but is extremely ignorant. Thus it is said. After that, the principle of the increase and decrease of the root central channel and other channels and airs from the self-channel is explained. Here, the first breath of a newborn child is the nature of being without the eight qualities of dust and so on, sun and moon. Regarding this, when a child is born, the six root airs of the central channel descend, and immediately after that, this first breath is connected with the air of wisdom, therefore it does not have the qualities of sun and moon, and it has not entered the mandala of earth and so on, so there is such a saying, but it needs to be examined. Here, does the first breath refer to primordial air or the part of the foot? It needs to be examined. By the power of the three qualities, that also

The transformation into three numbers: the second breath after the first is the merit of heart-strength, the third is of particles, and the fourth becomes the merit of darkness. Among the numbers of those three breaths, the first without merit is not taken; it should be counted as three breaths together with the first, because the first breath pervades the latter three. Therefore, that breath with merit also initially becomes the number three. Then, that breath with merit also becomes five each due to being distinguished by the five merits of the realm, thus becoming fifteen called "tshes". Those fifteen are again tripled by the distinction of body, speech, and mind, becoming the number of water treasures, which is forty-five. Again, from then on, multiplying those forty-five by the distinctions of the four modes of movement of the sun and moon's preceding and following feet, in sequential and non-sequential order, those increase to one hundred and eighty breaths, which is the number of breaths for half an hour. Again, transforming by the distinction of method and wisdom, making it twofold, the increase to three hundred and sixty breaths is the number of breaths for one hour. That breath of just one hour causes the breath of one mandala to descend from either the left or right side of that child. Then, the second mandala, the third mandala, the water treasure, which is the fourth, the arrow, which is the fifth, and similarly, the time, which is the sixth, the mountain, which is the seventh, the eighth, the star, which is the ninth, and the tenth, that is, the breaths of the five mandalas arising from the left and right descending in the order of generation and absorption, cause the pulse petals to arise from the central pulse of time, and the movement of breath increases from this. The breaths that alternately shift and move to the left and right after each time division, running for sixty mandala hours in one day and night, cause it to increase to between twenty-one thousand six hundred breaths. From that boundary, with the various categories of ka, etc., that is, pa, etc., such as the seed ka, etc., classes and vowels, etc., mentioned in the explanation of the thirty-sixth verse, and the time divisions such as Makara, etc., mentioned earlier, and the distinctions of direction and day and night, etc., abiding on the path of the two kinds of taste, or
