By acting in this way, all beings will become pure. Such as these and so on. Some say that "Phya" determines all the happiness, suffering, high and low states of sentient beings. The Sanskrit word for this "Phya" is "Daiva," which means the maker of everything, or the one who assigns such and such a destiny. If we investigate whether this "Phya" refers to a person or a non-person, some people do not recognize its true meaning, but merely repeat the name like parrots. However, in most cases, "Phya" refers to Brahma. Similarly, the statements that Brahma and Ishvara, etc., can determine everything, or that Rahu can determine everything, etc., are widely circulated in their respective schools. Furthermore, the ignorant actions of thinking that some external object can determine the happiness and suffering of sentient beings are the words of Mara's sons. That is to say, it is not that external existences such as gods and demons cannot be the causes of benefit and harm, and that constellations, etc., cannot become causes of good and bad fortune due to the connection of time and space. Because in this tantra, the acceptance and rejection of constellations, etc., are also explicitly mentioned. But the main thing is that the power of each sentient being's own merit and demerit causes external objects to also become causes of benefit or harm. Without karma, no external object can independently cause benefit or harm. If, as Mara's sons say, the good and bad of sentient beings depend solely on the power of the current constellations, without relying on the merit and demerit of other lives, then all the previously accumulated good and bad karma would become meaningless, and one would have to rely solely on the power of the current constellations to determine fate and enjoy the results, which is obviously unreasonable. Similarly, by calculating the time and acting accordingly, one also sees errors that contradict the stated results. For example, the Kalachakra says: "Sita brings happiness, if not in harmony, the sky is empty, grace is difficult to fight, will not be completely victorious, fear will turn into powder. Encamped on the battlefield, wanting to attack the government, those people will be pierced by the arrows of the government, in all directions."

utterly destroyed. As previously stated, in the Kalachakra given by the sage's abode, Sita is inauspicious, and the thirteen, including the war-loving and evil-sounding ones who entered the battle in the empty sky, were destroyed by Jikde, the son of Kyabse. Although the evil-sounding ones wanted to strike with political means, it is said that they were also pierced and destroyed by the arrows of political means. Therefore, it is impossible to generate benefit and harm solely by the power of temporary stars, etc. It should be known that sentient beings each enjoy the fruits of past good and non-good deeds. Similarly, the Bhagavan said: "The actions of body, speech, and mind, whatever good or non-good is done, sentient beings enjoy its fruits, other gods are not the givers of fruits." Thus it is said. If someone obtains accomplishments and happiness by relying on gods, etc., and sees it as the grace of the gods, it is not solely the grace of the gods, but because one has the power of past merit that the god bestows grace. Without merit, one will not see the grace of the gods for those who have the power of sinful deeds. Merit also comes from benefiting sentient beings, not from harming sentient beings by killing for the sake of worshiping gods and ancestors. Chapter ninety-nine of this tantra says: "Therefore, no agent can give or take away the happiness and suffering of beings. Whatever three actions are done in samsara, past karma will give its fruits." Thus it is said. Similarly, regarding the son of the gods, the demon, verse eighty-six of chapter five says: "What are the various mantras of fierce actions spoken by the lord of the three realms?" etc. As it is said, the actions of fierce mantras are applied for the sake of protecting sentient beings, for weakening the power of the demons who delude sentient beings, and must be understood as such. Yogis should not rely on such ignorant actions of the words of demons that are done for the sake of harming other sentient beings. Similarly, the individual habitual tendencies of the minds of sentient beings appear as follows:
