The nature of three months is the state of the Great Lord. Then ten months are the balance and existence, which is the fetus. Eleven months are sin and birth, which is the door. Twelve months are the bow and aging and death, which is the outside, that the nature of three months is the state of the Great Lord. Thus, in the one hundred and seventieth verse of the wisdom chapter of the King of Tantras, "Action is born from affliction," etc., the nature of action, affliction, and suffering, constantly revolving, is merely the dependent arising of cause and effect, there is no other transmigrator, and from emptiness arises the dharma of emptiness. When the student remembers the oral transmission of the Khenpo in his mind, the oral transmission of the Khenpo is transferred to the student's mind stream, the wisdom of the Khenpo is not exhausted, and the fruit is not produced, and the student does not fail to obtain the understanding of the words of the oral transmission, and cause and effect arise interdependently. Similarly, as a lamp is transmitted from a lamp, the moon's reflection appears in water, the fragrance of a flower stains clothes, sound produces echo, flint produces fire, sourness makes the tongue salivate, that is, causes saliva, and a seed produces a sprout, the combination of the aggregates is caused by the desire for change. Thus it is said, therefore, the wheel of samsara constantly revolves, it is the desire for change, that is, ignorance. When the desire for change diminishes, that is the greatest unchanging great desire. From that great desire, detachment diminishes, that is called detachment, which is hatred for things that are separate from attachment. When hatred ceases, it is great hatred. Detachment diminishes, from great hatred, fainting, that is, the delusion of not seeing what to take and what to abandon diminishes. When delusion diminishes, it turns into great delusion. From great desire and great hatred and great delusion, the nature of desire, hatred, and delusion, ignorance, diminishes. When ignorance ceases, it turns into great ignorance. Thus, when ignorance ceases, action ceases. When action ceases, consciousness ceases, and so on, until aging and death cease. When the twelve branches cease, the branches of the Bhagavan, which are not in accordance with the twelve branches and dharmas of samsara, are the ten truths.
