It is to make the mind depressed. In another way, if doubt arises whether to destroy or not to destroy at first, one will not be discouraged because one cannot understand it as destruction. Therefore, as the Blessed One said, "Bodhisattvas should know skillful means." Thus, if the historical dharmas arising from the Vedas are analyzed with reason, they are meaningless. If the wicked sages say, "History and the law of Shedu, including the Vedic branches and medicine, these four are proven by the holy words, and should not be destroyed by logic." And also, "Shedu is vast, the words of Vāsiṣṭha, together with the Vedas, whoever says there is no measure, that person will become a Brahma killer." Thus, the historical dharma of Vishnu, the vast dharma of Shedu, together with the Vedic branches of Brahma, and medicine, thus, these four are proven by the holy words of Brahma and Vishnu, or proven by the scriptures. They should not be analyzed and destroyed by the logic of subsequent speculation. The dharma of Shedu was made by the vast sage, and the words of Vāsiṣṭha, together with the Vedic branches, if someone says that there is no measure to establish the true meaning, and that it is false, that person will become a great sin like killing Brahma. Things proven by the holy words cannot be analyzed for truth or falsehood, and must be held as true. This lie of the wicked sages is a foolish statement set up to eliminate the fault that the teachings of one's own sect cannot avoid being harmed by reason, and it will make children universally ignorant, and through analysis it will prove to be meaningless. Others say that if sentient beings have existed since beginningless time, and revolve in samsara due to the power of the habit of the transformation of desire, then the Blessed One said that from ignorance to action, etc., the twelve links of dependent origination revolve in samsara, that is, ignorance, craving, and grasping are the three afflictions, action and existence are the two karmas, and the remaining seven are suffering, thus from afflictions karma arises, from karma the seven foundations of suffering arise, and from suffering afflictions arise again.

Therefore, the wheel of samsara arises in this way without ceasing, which is the law of dependent origination of cause and effect. There is no other independent master who wanders in samsara, and although it is not transferred from the previous life to the next, it is by the power of dependent origination. Nagarjuna's verses on the essence of dependent origination in the Mulamadhyamakakarika say: From these three, two arise; from two, seven arise; and from seven, three arise. This wheel of existence revolves again and again. All beings are causes and effects; there are no other beings besides these. From the dharmas of emptiness alone, it is taught that the dharmas of emptiness arise. Expectorant, lamp, mirror, copper, burning glass, seed, sour taste, and sound. The connection of aggregates should be understood by the wise as not transferring. As it is said, then will the habit of the transference of desire alone not become the wheel of samsara? To that it is said, here the children say that the wheel of samsara, which has branches of suffering from ignorance and so on, is different from the habit of transference, and that the transference of attachment is not the root of samsara, but that is not so. Because the Buddha, the Bhagavan, who has transcended samsara, is not a non-existent nirvana in which the seven bases of suffering cease because karma and afflictions are exhausted, like a fire that has consumed firewood, but because he holds the unchanging wisdom of great bliss that is the cessation of ignorance. Therefore, the Bhagavan Vajrasattva, who holds the supreme unchanging wisdom, is far beyond the habits of samsara. Those who are not in harmony with the Dharma of that wisdom are those who hold changing wisdom or consciousness, and are therefore bound by the habits of samsara. Therefore, the consciousness that realizes only selflessness, without abandoning the obscurations of transference and attachment, is not wisdom, because it is not separate from the habits of transference of samsara. The supreme unchanging wisdom is great desire, not just being free from attachment to self, but this is the true antidote to ignorance, the wisdom of knowledge. The opposite of that, ignorance, is the state of the fourth stage of the beginningless habit of desire of sentient beings. Endowed with that.
